Cheers
MG
Hey there, great video. Im quite new to landcruisers, but what are the different specs and options for diesel? Looking for luxury things like subroof and cool box etc. I heard sahara is one of the top specs? Or are there more versions?
Ответитьdo you know anything about LC200 hill start assist mine seems to not be working?? any tips??
ОтветитьFantastic set up, and as you said its for your needs, Great video,
Ответитьthe best mod setup I've seen on a 200 series
ОтветитьGreat set up and very well presented in the video. Very keen to know roughly how much extra weight have the mods added to your vehicle? I want to make a guess of 450-500 kg excluding the weight of water and additional diesel but looking forward hearing from you about it :) Enjoy your big lap!
ОтветитьHi Nathan, can you pls tell me a bit more about the rear adjustable pan hard rod to correct alignment? I've got a 2019 Sahara with BP51s, GCM, diff drop Blackhawk UCAs but no mods to pan hard rod. HAve never been happy with the back end wobble since suspension work down - will the PH rod fix this? Thanks.
ОтветитьWow, what an awesome setup. I'm soon to get myself an early LC200 and you've given me some great ideas.
I'll definitely be coming back to this video for reference 👍
Omg. Setup ++
Tried and tested. Everything with a purpose, really honest selection of gear. The micro lights from stedi are brilliant. Use them on my arb rack for camp setups.
Not knowing about the Ultra Gauges it is a MX1.4 when it’s in 5th gear it shows 85 and when it’s n 6th gear it shows 86 is that common
ОтветитьWouldn't the Ultraguage, mounted in that position, become a missile in the event that the curtain airbag deploys..?
ОтветитьKeen to hear what your planned itinerary is with the van as well as what van
ОтветитьAbsolutely fantastic and well thought set up!
I loved it the way how you've left the car almost looking original but at the same time packed with technology that suits your needs..I think your build is one the most clean and functional set up that Australia has ever seen ..
Sweet ride brother, wishing you safe and reliable travels
ОтветитьLove your episodes, Nathan. As an LC200 owner, you have helped me a lot, giving us some great ideas. I think the rear tailgate light gets me the most comments. I'm currently looking at an undebonnet fuse box. I can;t see a link above. Could you prpvode some info, includign how you mounted it?
ОтветитьGreat episode summing everything up,
You might think about having another spare tyre without the rim just to keep the weight down seeing it’s a difficult size to source in some of the more remote areas
SPORTING THE NED KELLY LOOK!
ОтветитьHey mate, Do you have a link to that rear tailgate internal light? that thing is amazing!!!
ОтветитьGreat video. How did you end up resolving the parasitic amp draw from redarc bcdc and lithium starting battery?
ОтветитьNice run down mate, lots of similar stuff to ours. Cheers Steve
ОтветитьI feel like someone is getting a Donaldson PowerCore airbox.
ОтветитьGreat video
Thanks Nathan
What an awesome vehicle Nathan. Thanks for another excellent episode! 🥇
ОтветитьGreat run down Nathan, a lot of thought into setting up and making it right for your situation. Looking forward to seeing the van, cheers 🍻
ОтветитьHi Nathan, my rear storage system is, like yours fantastic, but just like you, the space between my storage system and rear side windows is good storage that is difficult to take advantage of.
In my case, GU Y61 Patrol, Emu Gull Wing window not available for the rear passenger side as rear air con is ducted behind original glass, also both rear side windows contain FM radio antennas, so in theory I'm not able to utilise gull wings, in any case the hinge mechanism of the Emu gull wings would be impeded by internal roof storage.
Should any of your dedicated followers have a manufacturer of gull wings windows for the GU passenger side, I'd appreciate input.
Mate, you are so set up, and I'm annoyed with myself as I'm about to mount EGT/Boost gauge and totally forgot your detailed install of your gauges, as I'm really not a fan of pillar pod housing, illuminated gauges at night would impede my night vision, especially to verging traffic on my right.
I'm attempting to find a suitable location to mount the Redarc G52-BET gauge I've sourced.
By the way, my Itech 1420 pro is working a treat isolated by my old Redarc SBI12 converted into a basic ignition activated relay.
Love your work mate.
Thanks!
Ответитьi have lots of envy :) well presented Nathan plenty of ideas thank you . I HAD TO EDIT THIS COMMENT THAT IS AN IMPRESSIVE SET OF LINKS IN THE DESCRIPTION :)
ОтветитьAlso a video idea contact the cruiser company they have a 1000 times more refined rear side opening window. No kitchen cupboard hinges that's so sure.
ОтветитьWith the dash cameras.... are both actually able to capture number plates clearly? I have seen to many that are blury and points for insurance as our still at fault and need to pay excess without number plates.
ОтветитьOut of interest does the gvm documentation include the wider off set rims? In SA no ARB reseller will allow it...
ОтветитьFor those looking at 200 series rack. The arb is the full 200kgs less rack weight of 28kgs from memory. Even off road. It's also much lower to the roof and much quiter
Ответитьi appreciate the honesty of admitting when something has not been a good investment / choice. I often take one of your ideas and borrow (plagiarise) for my own setup - thank you!
ОтветитьNath,
Nice comprehensive video again.
Looks like you are ready to go, just need to fill up the tanks and fridges… 😂
BUT…it also reminds me that I miss all above the car.. roof rack and accessories…😢😢😢
Yep, I know.. keep the shops happy selling.
How is the new van doing??? All just waiting your next vid.
Cheers
Good video Nathan, love to know what the weights are now with full tanks and all people.
ОтветитьLove the truck and your vids have definitely helped our set up.
FYI: the 2.1 is better for hilly terrain as lower dbi has a higher angle throw and the longer 6dbi is for long flat areas!
👌
Still no van
ОтветитьNathan, it blows me away seeing how much work you have done to the Cruiser. Great vid and I’m really looking forward to seeing the van in more detail and how you set it up for the trip. When are you all hoping to start ? Thanks for sharing
ОтветитьGreat setup ever thought of a cargo barrier when on the road
