I misread the title as ‘Schiaparelli is boring again’ and felt scandalized

This show was one of my favorites by schiaparelli!

Why are we pixelating images??

schiaparelli is the perfect confluence of innovation and beauty in my opinion. it's experimental, it's challenging and exciting, but so elegant, so glamorous. it really feels like art in a way not all fashion does

Haute couture is art, art is essential….soooo….

From this collection, I want a wedding gown. Don’t care which color and a hat instead of a veil. It was definitely a moment.

The finale look is making me think of two things:

1. Frida Kahlo (with her work, "The Two Frida's"; she is also a surrealist, but from the Americas)
2. Sinistrocardia

Schaperelli and Iris van herpen are my favourite fashion designers they are so good

Just a video idea: Where are the Schiaparelli housecodes inspired by? I mean those specific hats, the sharp shoulders, black and gold etc.

Where the hell would you see these dressers

Rich people spending insane amounts of money on clothes is less offensive to me than lots of things they spend their money on (like taking my rights away by donating to far-right politicians)....

A well thought presentation. Your knowledge and research into haute couture are impressive.
I did want to point out a few things which you might have omitted, due to time constraints?
More than a few of the 3D embroideries were inspired by Elsa, who used quite a few of them, after she saw some of the offerings of Paul Poiret and Madeleine Vionnet. Some of Poiret's designs in the 1910s had great dimensional qualities, and Vionnet was, and will always be, Vionnet.
When Schiaparelli created some of her most iconic looks, she focused on some truly incredible sources, such as her insect and shellfish buttons, created out of some of the most exotic materials of the day (bakelite, hard rubber, resin-infused woods, etc).
Her friendships with Jean Cocteau and Romain de Tirtoff (Erté) had opened her imagination to some of the most brilliant fashion statements of the 20th century. Maison Lesage brought to life some of the most spectacular Schiaparelli creations of the era, drawing from the extensive records in the company archives, which had been saved since the company's inception, as MIchonnet, with the rich history of technical achievements in broderie.
As an aside, what did you think of some of the footwear? The black velvet pumps, adorned with 18 carat gold toenails, was so incredibly Elsa that I had to stop the video and then look up the collection.

I still feel like they rely too much on the legacy of the house, they just revamp the main motifs. I personally don't see anything new or very creative.

i didn't particularly love the collection but it looks to be well made at least. and apparently that is more than some of the other houses could say for their recent output

It’s a little hard to tell, but are the bottom of the shoes done in a shocking pink sole? If so it’s a nice nod to Elsa’s signature color.

The measuring tape and wheat black dress is my favourite. Idk it's like a dichotomy, two halves of the same coin or something. It just tells a story immediately I love it
