I love this distro so much!, i have it installed on my Acer Aspire One D255E (2gb ram & 1TB HDD).. with compiz and emerald installed running smooth and uses less cpu and ram than any other ubuntu based xfce distros I have tested!.

Yep that is the problem set the virtual machine to Type: Linux Version: Ubuntu (64 bit)

Are you running a virtual machine ? or actual hardware ? if it is a virtual machine is it virtual box or vmware ?

Strange , i pressed enter , do have problems only with this distro ?

yes and Secure boot is only supported with 64bit version

I tried to install this distro in my HP Envy 6 laptop, dual boot with windows 8, but Linux lite did not boot.. I have an UEFI and SSD drive. Do I need to create UEFI partition and format it as Vf32?

Hum can you clarify the question ? Is it before or after the installation ?
