The HPD doesn't even have a lift... .LAME
ОтветитьThe trans overheats. Junk
ОтветитьMy car with 3" ground clearance and 1 wheel drive can do that
ОтветитьI've drivem many trucks and truck based suvs. Most have pretty rough handling. With exceptions to lexus gx and lx.This is perfect for my needs and rides smooth.Very happy with it.
ОтветитьI have the RTL-E. refined for my City life...but, I am an avid camper, rucker, and Ironman. This truck checks all the boxes for me. I went for the HPD package given my lifestyle...the HPD offers no real benefit for off-road use. If looking to add $$$ for HPD, opt to go up a trim to RTL-E from RTL instead...this is my opinion. Same tires. Same powertrain. Same ground clearance. More tech. More interior amenities...and, RTL-E adds in-bed speaker that sounds fantastic. Also, superior interior audio. This is a great truck.
ОтветитьHPD....High Priced Decal package
ОтветитьUsed to take my 07 snow skiing Mt Hood. Studded tires & it worked every bit in ice/snow as good as the Suburban I had before it. Plus, I could haul my dirt bike summers. Great rig. I just replaced it with a 23
ОтветитьMost impressive thing is how quiet the cabin is on that dirt road
ОтветитьIt's crazy that Honda fab'ed the skid plates for this video, but they don't automatically include them on the factory build like virtually every other truck manufacturer does when you get 4WD.
Same that it doesn't come w a factory lift like virtually every other pickup w 4WD
I would rather tow a side by side to go camping way in but that’s just me. Everyday use the ridgeline does the job.
ОтветитьWish the Honda 'Performance' Development package actually offered more performance. Wider tires are at least something I guess...
ОтветитьI love our Ridgeline. Ive taken it all the way up to the mountains offroad, loaded it up with a bunch of stuff, towed and took the whole family on a road trip through the west coast and its done it all with no complaints. Just wished it had a little more ground clearance but that's an easy fix.
ОтветитьSuch a polarizing vehicle...
ОтветитьI stopped watching as soon as I saw the 19 year old honda engineer
ОтветитьI once pulled a Ridgeline that got stuck towing a utility trailer up a Muddy dirt road of a landfill. He overheated the transmission, not sure if it was excessive wheel spin or just it couldn't handle it. Pulled them out of ruts, with my old Ford Ranger😂
ОтветитьReally underrated van
ОтветитьAre those tow hooks in the front bumper? How are they installed?
ОтветитьThe lack of ground clearance is what bugs me the most, heck the wife's Outback has more clearance than the Ridgeline.
- For driving around dirt roads, it's good enough. Trouble is when you come up some washed-out spot and small obstacles to cross.
Otherwise, the Ridgeline seems like a pretty darn practical and well thought out vehicle.
ridgeline happens when equity and wokeness takes over a company
ОтветитьMore info on that Thule bed rack please!
Ответитьit's a real piece of crap Truck. My 2018 Honda Ridgeline had 5 safety recalls, made noises and was in the shop for 10 days and honda couldn't find the source and said just keep driving it it may wear down (which 5,000 miles it did) - also, the 2017-2019 ridgelines have a defect with the engines where fuel injectors are pushed in to far and clog up. Many blogs talk about this and around 50k miles i had to get mine fully replaced because check-engine emission light came on. Lots of folks have this issue. Also the 2017-2019 power train (transmission) is used on the ridgleine/odessy and pilot all have many issues with failing between 50k-70k and it costs about 5k repair. I got rid of my 2018 honda ridgeline this January of 2023 and traded it in for a Mazda. I don't miss it at all, A few weeks after dumping it i got an email of yet another recall regarding tailgate camera. So happy don't have to bring that dang thing back into the shop to waste hours for another warrenty repair. Anyway, Honda Civics and the Honda CRV have different teams and they are reliable, for me the Honda Ridgeline had the most recalls then any vehicle i ever owned and I had zero confidence it was going to last. When I drove it all i kept thing was "what's the next thing to go wrong". I am so happy i got rid of it, and not ever buying another Honda again, it was a painful experience.
ОтветитьWhere did you get the front recovery hooks? i gotten stuck in really bad mud and the front recovery hooks would had definitely help go get out of.
ОтветитьThey make a 3 in life for her and diff locks aftermarket parts and they make a real difference.
ОтветитьIs the Ridgeline suspension the same as the Pilot's or is the Ridgeline tougher against potholes and other irregularities?
Ответитьhahahaa paying a couple grand for the HPD decal
ОтветитьTasha is a Honda engineer. LMAO 🤣 🤣. I went to engineering school in 1979... there wasn't a single woman. Tasha is kind of a stripper name :).
ОтветитьWhat year is this ridgeline?
ОтветитьEverything about this truck is excellent. Maybe what it needs to make an impact on market is looks. I.e. canyon or ranger
ОтветитьI’m a total Toyota guy, I love my Tacoma. I’m not ashamed to say that I like this though. It’s practical and something I’d not mind owning. That doesn’t mean I’d ever get rid of my Toyota for it though. My Toyota is here to stay until it quite literally rusts into nothing.
ОтветитьI love the ridgeline but without a forward facing recovery hooks, proper steel to mount a steel a bumper so a high quality winch with moose lights can be installed, this truck is basically useless here in the tundra of Alaska. I hope Honda hears us one day up in Alaska.
ОтветитьDonde lo consigo
Ответить😂😂😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьI get the appeal and im sure its great for lots of people, just not me
ОтветитьHonda should have left enough space inside bed trunk for a full size spare as they had on the gen 1. But overall is a great riding midsize truck for most uses.
ОтветитьDoes adding JSport lift kits to a honda Ridgeline void the Hona warranty? It's interesting that Honda would send a rep to talk about a ridgeline with significant aftermarket upgrades.
ОтветитьNice!
Good job Kase!
its only in the usa were people care so much about what other trucks people are driving, other parts of the world people dont give a fk
Ответитьthe Ridgeline is VERY capable off-road until you bottom out the oil pan on a rock in a washed out farm path!! over $600 parts and labor to replace the oil pan! Honda you need to offer these skid plates from the options book.
ОтветитьI have a stock g1 RL with k02’s. Ridgelines are heavily under appreciated. It’s a beast up in the mountains in Colorado in all of our crazy conditions.
Ответитьits not a real truck just because some city yuppie calls it a truck don't make it a truck that's like saying a really hard turd is a Diamond
ОтветитьMy mom bought a 2021 ridgeline and it feels really good to drive. Also hauls pretty well. Towed my gti full of junk plus lawn mowers in the bed
ОтветитьAfter I lease a BMW for a couple of years to scratch my sports car itch, my daily driver is gonna be a Ridgeline sport with a adventure package, or if Honda comes out a 3rd gen Ridgeline by then with a little more clearance I'll buy that.
Idc what anyone says, if I like something I like something, period, and I must say in my opinion Honda has always for as long as I can remember has built the nicest, most 'polite' looking vehicles. Maybe not the sexiest, or most "aggressive" looking vehicles but that shits for nerds.
I honestly can't wait to own one of these.
Needs the $1500 lift kit that adds about 3" and better tires but it'll do most of what most people need.
ОтветитьIt's a van with the back chopped off...
ОтветитьI am looking to buy smaller pickup truck cannot decide ridgeline or maverick looks like they both cost about same but Honda in my opinion much better brand than Ford
ОтветитьNot the truck we want but the truck we need
ОтветитьHow were you able to fit the Thule racks?
Ответитьhad a whole thing, why this is stupid... then editing.
ОтветитьWith the increased lift, does it reduce mpg?
Ответить
