Website Photo Optimization in 1 minute

Large photos slow down your website, be sure to size your photos properly for fast page loading and good seo practices.

In this video I show you my standard process for photo processing on my websites. There are lots of ways to do this, but this is the quickest for my applications. Rename images, resize images, compress, and add alt text to images that are being added to the web to optimize your website.

Resizing Tools:
Resizing can be done in Photoshop or other image apps. I use preview as an example since it is a free option. The size depends on your application, size the image based on it's maximum display size on your webpage. Webflow will resize images appropriately at breakpoints to further improve efficiency.

Compression Tools:
Image Optim if the best free software I've found for quality compression without adding time to file management.
