It's so interesting to see, how different countries handle their employees and customers. In my country it's totally normal to be ignored by the staff, especially in shops, and supermarkets, but also in fast food restaurants, because they know they don't have to be polite because the people need you. Here, you almost only get fired if you aren't subservient to you manager - customer service = 0 or like we call it: service desert 🤦‍♂

My opinion, Sonny, you should not have been fired, just for missing one single dessert on a busy day 😉

All i can say is what a boss once told me that just really stuck... Excuses are like butt holes, we all have one. Not everyone's shit smells the same though. In my opinion you should flush it all the same and move on with your day.

Seemed like a bad thing at the time. Turns out it was one of the best things that ever happened to me.
Couple of tough years. Got Divorced (thank god), lived in an old trailer at a state park for a couple of years, had some adventures. Felt freedom.
Now self employed (living by my wits), in a beautiful log cabin in the mountains, with a great woman and four (?!) awesome dogs. WTF?!
Life is good.
Now I’ve gotta go make some more money to make next month’s mortgage payment.
No regrets. 👍

Screw you Applebees!! I eat at my local one a couple times a month, service there is extremely hit and miss. Based on why you got fired every employee in the restaurant should be fired!! Including the idiot manager!! Food is ok but good luck getting your order the way you told them. And that's when you can find a server!!!!!!! They must all be magicians cause they're always disappearing!!!!!!!

I had no idea a restaurant would have a 3-strike policy to terminate their employees with. Your reasons for the strikes didn't seem like a big deal. Your third strike was technically your fault, but not worth firing you for an honest mistake. I worked in a restaurant. Mistakes happen during lunch rushes.

I used to work at Applebee's as a server Sunny so this is music to my ears I can totally relate to everything you're saying had all bad memories yeah that Oriental vinaigrette is supercaliorific never mind me I missed that Santa Fe salad and that jalapeno vinaigrette that stuff was bomb and chimichurri

What was the time between each infraction? If that was 3 small "mistakes" over the course of a year that would be ridiculous to be fired over. If it was those 3 in your first week... maybe a bit different lol. Anyway Love you Sonny glad you got fired and started this Channel!
