You're right about doctors not knowing about methylene blue. I told my primary care physician I was trying it and he stated that about the only thing it would do for me was turn my pee blue.

I have always wondered if there's any reasonable or note-worthy contraindications between methylene blue and alcohol? I take methylene blue regularly, but also drink alcohol on certain days. I never drink on days I take methylene blue because there seems to be no established consensus on whether or not there are any contraindications there.
