We love Palm Desert area, we live in Florida and are seriously considering doing a 1031 exchange and selling our beach house and buying over there. Detached home with a pool

Why do sellers relist as compared with just reducing asking $. I see so many that get listed as New but they’ve been on and off several times…..

Hi Tommy, I always watch your videos. I always loved the Palm Desert and Rancho Mirage area. Right now, I am debating whether to sell my rental property or keep renting it out. I want to buy in the area of either Palm Desert or Rancho Mirage. They are both beautiful cities. I am retired now, and my 401-K is growing more than ever before. So, I just want to see a good deal. I just flew back from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and I have seen how beautiful it is out there. But OMG! they are getting expensive out there, but they have beautiful beaches. But I will stick to the desert.

I would love to know what % of Rancho Mirage homes are 2nd homes. I've been monitoring the listings for a long time and I'm amazed how many sellers only owned the house for 2-3 years. Maybe they decided Palm Springs is too hot? I am retired in the SF Bay Area.
