Just saw Erik's article about the engineered wood siding in PRO REMODELING magazine. Made me stop and look because I recognized the house.
ОтветитьAmazing! Do you provide the building plans for this build? Or some simple free ones?
This design is similar too what I'm after but I live in Japan and you won't see this house much
vandelay like in seinfeld 😂
ОтветитьYou have inspired me a lot and I love your videos!
ОтветитьI would never hire this contractor to do a foundation, what a joke footer job …😢
ОтветитьNo sill gaskets at the ground level? Odd. No gravel around the exterior of the footings for drainage…? Why? Doesn’t it rain there? Overall..it does look pretty good.
ОтветитьI’ve never seen anyone ever build footings without building a form for the concrete before pouring and vibrating the concrete to get the air out of it. Why did they not use gravel at the foundation base for water run off? Was the ground for the footings even tampered to compact the it before putting the weight of the house on it? Perhaps there’s different codes there, but I wouldn’t skip these steps.
ОтветитьOnly thing I would like is to have drywall on the lower part of the deck on the ground floor, everything else beautiful, God Bless.
Ответитьdid you consult geologist ?
ОтветитьIf that was in New Jersey it would take over a year to build and cost 10 times more....the contractors in New Jersey are nothing but a bunch of criminals.... slimey scum...you guys seem to good to be true.... keep up the good work
ОтветитьThere was a millionaire who built his house on sand and then the rains came..........??
ОтветитьAmazing videos thanks for the effort
ОтветитьNice work, Hope there is never a forest fire,😱😱
ОтветитьI install Blinds for the living and this video scared me to death worrying about cracking a molding .AMAZING
ОтветитьThe foundation floor rebar is a complete mess and completely fails the basic concrete rebar construction method. If you build a house like this, the roof will blow off during a strong typhoon! All construction methods fail!
ОтветитьHow many hours a day do you work with your crew on a project like this?
ОтветитьGreat job as usual. Too bad about those colors though.
ОтветитьGood job
ОтветитьEssa casa ficou muito linda 🤩🤩🤩🤩
ОтветитьHey guys I love to watch your videos, I love Jamie especially because he has resilience, keep on being strong.
Just in case you're wondering where I am from the tropical Island of St Lucia, and we don't build houses like that but I love to learn
Super work I wish i had this type of contractors here in Romania, It s a pleasure to look at every detail of your jobs guys
ОтветитьHave you ever looked into doing epoxy countertops? Way cheaper than stone, more durable and you can make it look like just about anything. The house looks awesome!!

Ответить👍👍👍
ОтветитьBut all in all that carpentry skill is 💯 percent very good
ОтветитьThis kind of house building is not suitable here in the philippines, the wind will blows all of that wood trus in the air
ОтветитьYou guys ever tried putting the excavator bucket on the other way around when you need to backfill close to a wall?
ОтветитьGuys what about hydroisolation? no isolation for foundation, none at the bottom of the wood walls((( all the moister will be in house
ОтветитьIll give ya another shot That's a good Vid

ОтветитьOmg Vandelay 😂 I have been enjoying watching your videos today since we are just about to get started with our own home build… I’m digging this because I now know a little of what I can expect for the process!
ОтветитьHow does one convince the city to sell a plot in surrounding nature like this and allow to urbanize it? Probably costs 5m$ up for a plot of land?
ОтветитьI want to know...how many months...it took for you to built this house...but,apart from that I wonder why?you guys choose this place ....for building this house...but anyways you just got an awesome place to built this house buddy...I just love it...u guys are amazingly talented.
