How I almost got scammed by Ditto music distribution - independent artists watch this

I've just had my track removed from tunecore for the same thing.
My question is when I change distributors to re-release the same track.
1: can i start with a new ISRC code or do i have to use the previous ISRC code and my second question.
2: can i still keep my apple and Spotify profiles that i got through tunecore or do i have to start all again because I'm going with a new distributor.
Any feedback will be very much appreciated.

I have worked with Ditto music for 2 years. And I have more than 20 music releases. Royalties for views on my account. And I started having a lot of nausea. They did not see any issues during release and before release. But when viewers start watching my music they tell me to close my account and leave my music for some time. It is very harmful for artists. They didn't even give me a chance to prove it with all my music documents, they didn't even respond to my emails! Stay away from such Scam Distribution. They may give 1 month free opportunity first, it is of no use to you because you won't get my Earn within 1 month.😢 Distrokid is better even though it costs more.❤

Ditto is Scam . I was robbed about $900 in my First Royalty Statement. This is correct. I was told i had 1.2 Million Fake Streams. After Investigation They send Random Figures that made no sense & say that over the 6 months Tenure I had this streams however im only doing promotions on 2 months over the 6 months period so impossible to receive fake streams on None promotional months. Spotify do not disclose your information either which is wrong as if your the Artist you should be entitled to ask for Evidence of this Allegation. None was provided to me. Ditto can say anything. I removed my songs immediately.

Ditto has been fine for me and I have over 25 releases with them. Very little traffic so have yet to reach a level where you say this might happen, but am pretty doubtful TBH. They’ve been very helpful all along.

How many streams did they flag you at? My releases have alot of streams so I’m just wondering. Are you sure your promoter wasn’t using bots without your knowledge?

Ditto is a Scam . I lost $900 in Royalties that they stolen. They didn't lock me out. they kept my account open which mostly they close it if you receive fake streams. They said i had 1.2 million fake streams on months that i never carried out any promotion on.

if they ban you and you request to take your song down, they would do it I mean why would they if they can gain revenue from it while you are not getting anything....its gonna be theirs hahaha and all the revenue will be theirs too, easy money right?

The last thing you want to do is signed to ditto music because it's for life. if u tell them to take your song down lol they never do. they will tell u they did only to realise that they still have your song assigned on all dsp years later constantly renewing it.

There publishing agreement states the own your music now and in the future thats crazy they're thieves

DistroKid are in 200 law cases as I was told by a Spotify Worker. You can tell that the only thing Distrokid want is money, they charge for nearly everything and they also don't have an option to confirm a buy, as soon as you press buy, it buys.

we got scamed by ditto for more than 10k $ in 7months 2 years ago such a shame!

I have one album called "Action" on Ditto and I'm happy with their service. I just got my first payout within an hour after pressing the payout button. Although maybe I haven't had as much streams (just over 100k in 2 months) as you to get flagged but I haven't had any issues with Ditto this far at least. Sorry that you have had a bad experience with them, maybe I've been lucky. Thanks for sharing your experiences though
