I went down to the courthouse to payoff a speeding ticket and while I was there, I went inside the family court. 'Til this day, I could not believe how that Judge was so demeaning and visceral towards the men in that courtroom. That was all I needed to see at 18 to not go down that primrose path. Marriage is a failed institution in the west. However, I feel bad for the tradcon women who genuinely don't want to do anything premarital and do things the right way. This is the best advice that I can give a man in today's time if he decides to get married. The first step is to try to get to know the woman you're talking to, and the way to do that is to give it time. Don't be in a big rush or a big hurry to marry this particular woman because she's pretty and the sex is good because those very things right there can get you in trouble very quickly. So as a man you need to do your homework and make sure that she is the woman for you by doing a little test on her and seeing how she will respond and that will let you know a lot right there. For instance don't take her to the most fanciest and expensive restaurant on a date take her to a cheap restaurant such as mcdonald's, Burger king, KFC, Pizza Hut or some other cheaper place and see how she respond. Second step: Get a prenuptial agreement or a prenup by seeking out a lawyer that will help you set that up. Yes, it will be expensive using a lawyer, but it's still cheaper than her taking half of your stuff if things don't work out. That will protect you and your assets, also if you present a prenup to the woman that you are talking to and she gets upset by saying I thought you really loved me and I thought you trusted me and now here you are presenting me with this and she presents that with an attitude that might be a big red flag and a sign that you need to move on but if she have no problem with the prenup then she might really love you for you but if something happens to change somewhere down the road in your relationship with her then you will be protected and she won't take all the crap that you have worked hard to get. I don't look at a prenup as a bad thing I think it's just an investment in your relationship and it also shows you how much she does love you that she is not focused on materialistic things but rather focused on you and that's what you want.
