When i go into a video on Facebook fulscreen mode the comments that are appearing are automatically translate. How do i stop that. I remember that one time when i went to fulscreen .ode on fb videos fb asked me if i want automatically translated comments on the videos. I clicked show automatically translation and now everytime on videos on fulscreen it automatically translated me. How do i stop automatically tranlations just for comments on facebook videos?

How on earth would we of known this haha. The message I get from facebook is similiar but your message tells you exactly what to rename the file too. Mine says rename to filename[language]_[country code].srt. Without seeing the message it gave you i would never o figured this out. Thank you thank you!!!!

I don't know why but the first caption/subtitle in my video gets cut off with facebook. It's fine with twitter, but facebook cuts it off. Any solution??

The interface looks different on a facebook page (not a personal profile) with a facebook live recording. it's a smaller window on top. However, I managed to add subtitles, but they don't show, and cannot be selected. There is no CC-icon visible on the video player window during playback.

Hi! I have a question, I don't know if you can help me. I have a FB page with already uploaded videos. The original language is Spanish and I've made my .srt files for English subtitles. I've done the same you did but for some reason only me can see the English caption in the computer I uploaded the files. If I tray to see them in my phone, they just won't appear. And none of my followers can see them neither. I don't know what to do.

The subtitles didn't appear on my page even when in editing page I see that it was uploaded successfully

im using the same format... still getting the same error. sometimes these things can be annoying...

Hi, I have captions uploaded but I don't see them at all.

When I view my uploaded video on my personal FB there is no Options link below the video as there is in yours. Is there a way around this. I really want to add my .srt file.

Thanks for this very helpful video, however, when I go to upload my .srt file it doesn't work and I get no error? The 'auto caption' is on in the caption section vs. the 'recommended' green in your section? What is happening? It used to work and now it doesnt?
