Even though this was months ago, I still enjoy watching the men eventually work things out in the end...a few scary moments but it's great to see the bride and groom absolutely overjoyed with their important day. I could never get married. For one, it's WAY too much money to spend on just one day and two, I'd rather get my nails and hair done, with maybe some makeup and some clothes will do just fine... lol and your jacket Luxeria, is absolutely stunning, also my favorite color. my brother and I have keene eyes and know how to dress well. when I went to our cousin's wedding I wore a $70 dress I got from the retailer Venus. I think my brother is more refined in terms of style though. for his wedding I think he took the reigns in planning it because my sister-in-law got a bit stressed out and she's a very demure woman, which I can understand planning a wedding is stressful and my mother's overbearing nature certainly didn't help. I've had to tell my mom to tone it down because she can make people uncomfortable. my sister-in-law didn't get an engagement ring because it wasn't important to her. their wedding bands were made by repurposing old jewelry. the venue for the wedding was the local zoo which was fun. and I was happy to see my brother and sister-in-law happy

My husband and I were told by our mothers that we should elope and save ourselves stress and money. We ended up having a very small wedding, and it was beautiful don't get me wrong, but everything just kept adding to the total. I'm glad we did it, but man the cost of weddings (even small ones) is no joke!

My wedding was the worst!! A crying bride.. a pissed off groom.. an over medicated mom with a maid banging on a door trying to wake her up cause she slept the whole time.. and my husbands best friend broke his leg trying to stop my husband from kicking down my moms door.. I WOULD NEVER HAVE A WEDDING AGAIN! I wish my husband and I eloped somewhere romantic just the 2 of us.. been married 5 years love him to death.. but still have PTSD from our “big day”

I feel like maybe the brides don't account for the budget they have either, because a 14k ring (ONLY 1 RING) and a 5k venue is already a lot of money, like don't they only have 42k? That's almost half the budget. Dresses and shoes and makeup for the bridesmaids and the bride and then the suits for the groomsmen and the groom, and all the food, servers, dining things, and entertainment, and the one to officiate the wedding, and the cake and the alcohol, and the groom might be able to buy a wedding band from the dollarstore! Like shit is expensive. You really need a full team of experienced people to plan a wedding so grand for less than 50k.

Honestly, my boyfriend is ADHD and has Autism and I would shit (in a good way) if I knew how much he tried to make it my day while staying in budget....I feel bad for him as I know how his mind works and that his heart is in a good place...thats how I feel about this guy...espcially when he said " I feel like more of a persons, being able to pull this off". Very much gives me the energy that he feels he's been told he isn't able to do things the way "normal" people could.

I, too, found the best friend/lingerie thing kind of quizzical. I dunno, maybe the friend just has an eye for boobs? Ha!

All in all the groom did well all things considered, short deadline, expectation - budget ratio, no communication with the bride etc.

The Bride agreed with the conditions of this show. Why is she shocked that her man didn't get the dress right?! She should have know that he wouldn't get it RIGHT! I hope you DO go to the shop and tell her that the dress was actually really lovely, it flattered her and it suited the venue. They could have bustled all that bit, and added some tulle to create a better neckline for her similar to the halter they ended up creating.

Also, these people suck and they should not get married. She hates herself and everyone else, is clearly marrying him because she wants to be a bride/wife for smug brag reasons.

He is sweet and also very daft. I thought it might be weaponized incompetence but he genuinely seems dumb. His best man asked good questions and gave good advice but he didn’t ignore it, he heard it and truly believed he was making the right choices 😬

I do feel for the bridal shop owners because this show is as much as trick for them as it is the brides they probably used to brides loving what they wear not crying and calling it hideous. Plus they are left to pick up the pieces while the groom is nowhere to be seen

You have to remember this man is on a 14k budget. My 1st wedding cost 3x that. If you watch some of the others he did an amazing job trying to make it work.

I could never watch this without Lux’s commentary. Watching him bumble his way through this with no clue about basically anything is painful. I struggle to feel bad for Katie because of how she treated the bridal shop worker. Getting snippy with a service worker is an instant ticket into the bin. Especially because the worker couldn’t have answered her question in a way that made her happy. If she said the dress wasn’t popular, Katie would’ve said “no wonder, because it’s ugly”. Instead the worker said it is popular & Katie still hates it because “ugh, ew, everyone has it then?!”. Nasty behavior & on-camera to boot.

This woman is really annoying me, they must have been going on the show because they do not have that 12k themselves (thats the only reason I think these controlling women would relinquish any sort of control) also family could only put 2K to it so she knows that its around the 12K mark yet she wants TWO DRESSES? Girlie is acting like shes got a 50K budget but states "I dont want anything beyond my reach" whilst trying on a 14K wedding ring!
