ОтветитьPerfect thing to watch after getting done with my first final
ОтветитьOutstanding video, Saris.
Can't wait to see Sidney bite the dust and to see Marse Bragg's genius arise.
Great Job, Pea Ridge was included.
!!..most other Utubers are too lazy and don't do the homework..cheers
Just an idea. I have my great grandfathers (x3) last letter to home. He was with the 24th NC Infantry Regiment Company C “Clayton Yellow Jackets” with Ransoms Brigade. He sent the 4 page letter home on June 5th, 1864 from Bottoms Bridge, VA. His regiment is moved to Petersburg and he is killed in battle on June 18th in the opening days of the Siege of Petersburg. The letter is full of info and at the same time is heartbreaking. He is worn out and wants to come home. Speaks of Lee and Grant as well as the exchange of tobacco for coffee with the Yankees. Didn’t know if you would want to do a breakdown of it. Never seen anyone do something like that before on these type channels. I have the documentation on him, his unit, and the letter. Just an idea and regardless love the channel.

There is serious love of the military history of the American Civil War on display in these videos and the research cited. This ambitious project is nothing short of a "Warhawk's Online Atlas of the Civil War" - it deserves to succeed and be seen through to the end. So keep up the EXCELLENT work, but pace yourself too.
Totally looking forward to Part 2 of this.
Just waited for alot so I could just binge them
ОтветитьCame here from Civil War Week by Week's shoutout, wonderful content!
ОтветитьI can’t believe how well researched, the quality, and number of videos you’re putting up. Outstanding job and so refreshing to see someone covering the Western Theater. Keep it up
ОтветитьBeauregards initial plan was over-ambitions. With well trained regular troops it might have worked. Not with the troops the CSA had available.
ОтветитьOutstanding video!
ОтветитьThis treatment over three videos (looking forward to #3) is much appreciated. This prologue is excellent as a single piece. You could skip it if it isn't your thing, but its my thing, and well done.
I like the energy in the narrator's voice. It covers over the odd mis-pronunciation, and delivers layers of meaning without being too heavy (boring).
That Sherman guy seems vaguely familiar? He ever burn anything down or maybe play a role in WWII?
ОтветитьOutstanding!
ОтветитьI love the way the artist artist made the big wigs so much bigger then the little ppl watching then in the DJ painting opening of this vid
Cant let the little ppl see themselves any where near as big as the big wigs even in a painting
Would be still true today if we didnt have modern photo tech Always the oligarchy trying to make themselves look bigger not just in prestige but also in stature when ever they can
Halleck didnt see shit When Grant first came to him with the plans to take the forts he said No It took Lee going with him a 2nd time to get him begrudgingly to consent
Then the asshole tried to take full honors for the taking of the forts
Thank you for these great videos.
