Been putting off scan tools since most of my cars are 20 plus years old but now have a couple of 21'st century cars, one has a code, 2004 Chevy 5.3l 1500 Silverado 35(now 25) dollars sounds like less than I could have a mechanic glance at it...anyhow thanks again.

Will it scan a 2009 Toyota 4Runner Limited V8. My check engine light, VSC, and traction light are on so I’m looking for the codes. Already tried zero calibration sequence with paper clips - no success. Any help appreciated!

I love it when people say something is cheap. Obviously they aren't trying to live on Social Security nowadays. I'd love to have a scanner for my Highlander, but it's not in the cards. Thanks Scotty for all your videos. I'm almost in the poor house, trying to keep the check engine light off, on my 2001 Highlander.....not to mention the VSC light. 🤷

HaHa. Scotty just picked one up for $20 you must be psychic just like you said maybe in the future it’ll be $20 not $35.

I actually bought that little scanner not long after this video came out... It's ok , but just ok. It will give you the very basics. The battery tester is a gimmick , just says the voltage but of course can't load test anything. Can't update the device either.. Tried getting the program for pc,, Won't accept the serial number so ,, maybe it's just not eligible for any updates. For a cheap little gadget , meh , it's alright.
