I never new what I had until it was gone.

My grandfather taught joni in school in saskatoon saskatchewan, have her year books, yes she failed grade 12.

I had no idea she sang this first. I always thought this was a Counting Crows song.

I literally saw it happen in my childhood. There was a nice pond in my neighbourhood, full of life; frogs, tadpoles, toads, sticklebacks, ramshorn and pond snails, duckweed, all kinds of water insects, dragonflies, damselflies, you name it... Now there is a concrete car park where it used to be. Most of days it's empty.

I thought her music brilliant, but her bizarre habit of performing in blackface as a black man turned me off.

Amy Grant did an excellent remake of this song in the 90s. But there's another one I sometimes hear over the speakers in stores that sounds terrible. Not sure who sings it but it's some guy -- sometimes it's just best to leave a great song alone.
