Damn i killed him 7 times but I wasn’t near the part where he should fall in it

I’ve been fighting to asshole for 30mins straight wondering why he won’t die lmaoooo. This game continues to troll me.

this game is pure rage. Absolute pile of shit whoever made it has serious mental issues

I honestly don't like the characterization of this guy. Here we have a game full of human enemies, each with beautiful and well researched fighting styles and then there is this nanban who fitghts like a monkey and it is implied the only reason he can win is thanks to his armor. It is honestly a less than flattering representation of western swordmanship, specially bad when you consider there were dozens of treatises about swordmanship published during the XVI century that prove that using a big sword like that was more than just swinging it around like a monkey.

Every single time I fight him he always staggers back into a wall or a beam or solid air instead of through the walls

I felt bad for this guy. He only wanted to help his son.

I like how he looks like graceful with that armor and massive sword of his but he fights like an animal, thrashing about and bashing it into you. Not like it matters much when he's essentially immune to whatever you do.

This is dark souls enemy. Came from another multiverse.

IDK if I'll get an answer but do you think the big Brute that is locked up in the beginning is his son or the person he's looking for? Always occured to me that the big dude in the beginning was a western captured cause the way the talk about him?

how the hell was i suppose to guess you knock him off the ledge when everything else in all souls games can't be knocked off and if you do they patch it because the boss wasn
t suppose to die like that. Ugh this game is upsetting my soul.

It pleases me to see other players with significantly worse parrying skills than me

This is so cool to find out they really put useful Euro plate armor in a Japanese themed game. I think it would have actually been more impactful if they made him true to human size. Imagine how much more of a blow that would feel like... that a normal sized man is whooping your ass and your beast slaying sword is utterly useless... either way, this was super cool of them to include

The armored knight in Sekiro reminds me of the banished knights with a different helmet

It takes a true Giant Dad to care for his son… well, what is it?

I defeat him in my first try. Thanks to some review showing him fall. After two deathblow I finally realized I have to push him to the cliff.

The moment i saw that long passage like structure, i knew it was a boss fight. I love this boss so much. It made me scratch my head after multiple deathblows.

I like how he seems to not just be wearing normal European armor. Seems more inspired by Nanban armor especially for the helmet. A type of samurai armor inspired by European designs that had a distinct knight like look to it

Fck I spent so much time trying to figure out how to pierce his armor until he fell. I thought it was just a bug.

This guy is like if the Black Knight from Monty Python was played completely straight. Tall man in black armour that guards a bridge and no sells all damage.

This dude looks like he's fresh out of a Souls game.

Feels like the most hardest boss NPC Ai in dark souls III.

Imagine how crazy the lands outside of Japan must be in Sekiro, hell, divine dragons are probably a dime a dozen in China

Walks in out of nowhere.
No-Sells everything.
Mentions son.
Refuses to elaborate.
Plummets.

I wish we had a quest to save his son and not just push him, like he only wanted to save his son :(

Has anyone noticed [if you've played Elden Ring] that the Banished Knight's Greatsword two-handed move set looks very similar to Armored Warrior's? I feel like maybe that was intentional.
