Hello, i try to record in 1440, 60fps with 50mbits.. but in the video from time to time its lags for seconds.. i dont know why... i have a i7-11700k// 32gb ram 3200 // rtx 3080

The HD60 X is better than you claim. I am using the HD60 X between my Mac Pro running a Windows 11 Pro boot, AMD Radeon RX 6800 GPU and the Dell G3223Q Gamers Monitor with VRR support running at native 4K resolution. In Red Dead Redemption 2 from computer directly to the monitor on the Rockstar benchmark I get an average FPS of 79.4 and with the HD60 X capture card fitted I get 79.8. Since the benchmarks vary plus or minus about 2 FPS (plus or minus 1 SD) this is essentially the same result. You say the passthrough is no better than 60 FPS at this resolution, but that is not the case.

Can you do the cougar Envision Streaming device. Ima having a problem with no audio coming through on OBS. I have tried everything I found on Google and YT

The lack of multi-app capability you're talking about is a limitation of windows. Any video device (be it capture card or camera) can be captured by only one app in windows and that's it. The only solution is to use some virtual camera duplicator app (pretty sure there are some apps like that), but that will obviously use your pc resources and introduce some delay into the duplicated source.

So I can just plug in a HDMI cable from my video card and then plug the USB cable into a USB 3.0 port and I'm ready to stream with OBS Studio?
I play and stream on one PC currently. But AMD's encoding is not that great. So I need another solution. And I think this will be it.

your offhand comment about not being able to use two apps at once is what finally solved my issue. i feel like an idiot. i went through all the settings so many times and to get it to show up in OBS all i had to do was close the elgato app. banging head against wall

How come when I got it in streamlabs or obs it shows the library at the top the record button at the bottom from the elgato ? Kinda annoyed with it . I had no problem with the older version it's WAY BETTER

If I turn VRR on PS5 or Series X, then the stream is very jumpy. Soon, as I turn it off, the stream is fine. As of right now, VRR is useless.
If I try dual PC streaming, it is never very smooth. I am also running a very high-end setup. My gaming PC is RTX 4080, 32 gig of ram, and a 5800x CPU connected to a 32 inch 165hz 4k NEO Mini Qled Samsung gaming display. Gaming monitor supports freesync, gsync, and VRR and is HDR 2000. My streaming PC is QHD laptop with 5900HS CPU, RTX 3070, and 16 gigs of ram. I have spent 100+hrs trying so many different things and still I can't get a smooth stream on PC games or VRR to work right with this capture card. My internet is 1gig up/down fiber so it's high end too.

I think my issue could be frame pacing. Fps in game, refresh on monitor, and gsync/freesync/vrr cause the frames not to line up properly with a 1080p 60fps stream.

I need serious help because this is ridiculous that I am having so much trouble while others, with way less money invested, have smoother streams.

Hi very useful information. I hope you answer my question. The HDMI source PC(where the game is) does it show in the device manager that the HDMI goes to Elgato? Or it shows the actual screen pass through it like a Dell monitor? I mean is this hardware stealthy?
