What music is this?
ОтветитьMy first question is… how do you get a trip to go here? It’s so beautiful. I love the Romanova family. ☦️ Don’t know if now is a good time to visit thought due to the war going on as of right now.
ОтветитьEl edificio es un hospital

The Alexander Palace was home to Nicholas and his family from 1895 until 1917, when they were arrested and taken to Siberia. The palace was a place of joy for them.

ОтветитьIt’s beautiful thank you
ОтветитьAlexander Palace OTMA great great place soso beautiful very relaxing and refreshing, it is in the center of Tsonskoie, thanks for sharing good video
ОтветитьAny plans to go there again?
ОтветитьThank you for making this video!
ОтветитьMassacre of Romanovs but a small tragedy compared to killing of millions under Lenin, Stalin, and successors. Poor Russia and the other former Soviet republics. The great tragedy.
ОтветитьThe last tsarist family was transported to Czechoslovakia. Russia and the Czech Republic should declassify everything. My grandfather accompanied them by boat to Trieste and then by train to Czechoslovakia. He always said that Masaryk and Lenin were friends, but it was not free (part of the golden imperial treasure). Therefore, it is not appropriate to publish this for Russia or the Czech Republic. That's why the Czechs say they didn't steal anything, but they can't tell the whole truth. Disgust

ОтветитьWe like to think that Lenin was a cut above murderous Stalin; he wasn't. The Romanov Family was murdered at his behest and command.
ОтветитьWho is Anna Viroubovas? We often forget that these large palaces were not simply or only residential homes for the rulers, they also housed Administrators (and their staffs) of the Country, so these Palaces were Administrative Centers as well. The ruler brought his staff with him, so he could respond to any administrative detail.
ОтветитьPavlovsk is my favorite, took the train to Pushkin to see the palaces and the hydrofoil out to the Bay of Findland to see the Peterhof. Mon Plaisir was so sweet and Peter's small palace in the park at St. Petersburg. St. Petersburg was easy to get around in and very walkable at the time (nineties). Early form of Uber, just stand by the road and wave a car down to go between the palaces out at Pushkin.
ОтветитьThis video profoundly moved me. I have always felt a strong connection to Olga. I've started exploring Orthodoxy and I asked her to be my patron saint. Since then her sisters have become my patron saints as well. I want so badly to see these places but I don't know if I ever will, so thank you for this and for taking the time to show us around the grounds.
ОтветитьWhat a miracle these buildings are still standing at all! And now are being restored to their former glory!
ОтветитьI just found your wonderful video...Thank you for posting this!...It is amazing....I loved every minute of the tour..Im wondering if you will return in another year or so to video the newly completed Alexander Palace?...That would be lovely..We plan on visiting in a few years when everything in the Tzar;s Village has been renovated..

ОтветитьGreat video I’m going to visit here next time I go to Russia
ОтветитьI appreciate this footage very much, Mr.von Holdinghausen. Did you visit Tsárskoye Seló and the Alexander Palace/St.Petersburg with a personal educational intent or in the hope of finding answers to specific e.g. historical questions or problems ? I must apologize for my being that inquisitive, but without asking questions I wouldn't be feeling that I am a living human being.
Ответитьsaw a documentary called <Bones of Contention on amazon and it was made in 1994 and the palace was deserted and delapitated, there was kids playing in the grounds. good to see they are doing soething with it now.
ОтветитьIt’s so lovely seeing this, you can see how not much from the Chapels to the palace has changed, just a bit run down but is getting restored, to see the pictures of the family back then and now it feels empty without them, this video is so nice to see, hopefully when covid is over I can there. All the way from Ireland!!!! ☺️❤️
Ответитьits so sad story, what happened to the tsar family.
ОтветитьYou all Americans think it is so nice to live in castle, yeah - all nice and dandy until your dad tells you to mow the lawn and your mom force you to clean the hallways.
ОтветитьAté agora você SÓ mostra estrada.Assim pode ser qualquer lugar
ОтветитьMuito lindo.Posso visitar através dos seus olhos essa belíssima cidade
ОтветитьI really love the video it is a beautytfull building. I would come to ST peterburg one day from England and look it my self.
I can't what to see finIshed work. when it is all done on the palace and other buildings. Thank you for this video. it is very sad story about what happen to the Russia family. IT SHORED OF NOT HAVE HAPPEN AT ALL.
they hated Tsars..they murdered them...and they advertise their palaces for sight-seeing...GOD!!!
Ответить33 minutes out of 46 minutes before we actually get to see anything even resembling a palace?! Definitely NOT worth viewing.
ОтветитьI really enjoyed this. Thank you.
ОтветитьSo much work for the Russian Government to restore all the buildings. I hope it can do it!. It would be nice to see the gardens with the grass cut and the lakes clean as they were during Nicholas´s time. Amazing video!
ОтветитьWow! I so loved this video. I have always wanted to go to St Petersburg. Sadly I never will. But this gave me a real insight as to what this great city would look like. Thank you.
ОтветитьI stopped by to see this fine video again. It is like going there oneself. I even get emotional at the apt blocks and the marsh land on the way ...because they are on the way ......to Alexander Palace. Very much appreciated💗
ОтветитьThank you for doing this ❤️
ОтветитьWhat a great job bringing HISTORY into now.ann USA
ОтветитьEvery time I watch movies like this, I feel like crying. I can imagine little OTMAA when they were children running around these corridors and laughing in these chambers. Surely they were happy there, because this palace was their home. This is their palace. When I was in St. Petersburg a year ago, I could still feel the presence of these children and hear their laughter. It was a place where they could sleep true happiness in their too short life:(
Ответить💔🖤🖤🖤🖤
ОтветитьJust an absolutely lovely video. I’ve dreamt of going to Russia to see this ever since I was a kid and see it in your video in color just made me speechless. It’s as close as I can get to it right now. Thanks for filming and posting this so we could share in the experience.
ОтветитьI have been to St-Petersburg in Russia, I visit and saw Peterhoff, the winter palace the Hermitage, the Catherine Palace and the Alexander Palace, some of the Nobilities palace, and many others wonderful grand noble houses (palaces) it was amazing able to view these places, (with my own eyes) I was there for just 2 weeks, what I saw I enjoyed it so much. yes granted it is from a time past, but it was just wonderful to view to treasures they hold and how they once live... After those 2 weeks I went to Moscow, ( the Kremlin... what we are able to visit) it was great too but it felt less grand, less to the many tourists there... own view of it... I'm not saying it wasn't good and beautiful, I felt just less welcome or been a visitor there.
