Have 2 Asus routers one is the main router and the other is set up as a AIMesh. I assume I only need to do the install in the first router and not on the AIMesh. Am I correct ?

hi I got to the step of going into VPN Client however I don't have the option for "Openvpn" only PPTP, L2TP - I called their call center and they do not seem to know how why. But if I am using expressvpn can I use the other options other than Openvpn?

im with express vpn. The file is as one from them and I added it with the user and pass. However connection status just has the load ring over and over and no tick. Any ideas?

is it possible after you configure multiple VPN to assign to each LAN port a specific one? So if there are four LAN ports and i have configured NordVPN with 4 servers, can i assign to each LAN port one of the servers?

Great video I am using NordVpn for years, just learning that my existing router doesn't support Openvpn. May I ask a few questions:
1- is the same setup apply to the ASUS RT-AX88U ROUTER ?
2- Do you have a video or can you give me a recommendation on one showing how to setup the ASUS RT-AX88U router ?
3- My existing router is an old Linksys EA6500, is there anything to do before switching to the RT-AX88U ?

i have asusrt-n12 old model, you cant upload vpn files to it. it also have no place for entering username pw so what to do with that type of router

Have an AZUS RT-N66R router and I use Private Internet Access. I followed the steps exactly as you did and when I try to activate the OpenVPN client connection, it won't activate. When I look at the log file, it says Options Error: Unrecognized option or missing parameter(s) in config.opvn:36: compress (2.3.2). I have tried to get help from both AZUS and PIA and neither will help. Can you tell me how to get past those errors? It is a great video. Thanks.

I am in the market for the Asus RT-AC5300 Wireless Tri-Band Gigabit Router
This router has it's own VPN, therefore I do not need to have a subscription to a VPN service, My router has its own.

I have ordered an Asus AC66 router and wondered if you can access settings like kill switch etc with VPN installed on the router as you can with the desktop client.

When you put in multiple DNS addresses does the router pick the fastest of the 2?

One question, unless I missed something, I noticed during the tutorial that you had opened the 2 different VPN companies files to WORD , but noticed when you uploaded the CA files it wasn’t from the WORD document but from the original files. Sorry I’m confused, great video!
