How to Turn on Caps Lock Notification in Windows 10 PC or Laptop

I did not ask for this function, I put off updates for months to weeks because of reasons like this. One day I wasn't around to deny my computer this action, I turn on my computer and it did the update while closed. Like WTF? I am glad that Microsoft executive got assassinated, just wish it was consumer and not personal domestic issues related.
