Noel played Mark Slate in "The Girl From U.N.C.L.E." I later saw him in "Noises Off" at the Fox in Atlanta before he died.
ОтветитьOne of those songs that get stuck in your head.
ОтветитьThe lyrics of this haunting song are perfection. The Autumn leaves were turning to the colour of her hair.....
ОтветитьNoel performed two gigs at the south Devon railway
ОтветитьI always get confused between this and the Godfather Theme
ОтветитьState of our world empires to this atom war and star at the memry in hym of freedom and indipendence hmn ryth frtnd to other arsenal
ОтветитьQuick, sharp and to the point - like a stab to the heart ❤️ Love this performance!
ОтветитьThis song was part of my childhood. A Detroiter riding in our Triumph TR7 and hearing this on CKLW AM 800 from Windsor. Priceless. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьAmazing ❤
ОтветитьI love this version and Noel sings it beautifully - gawd is it that long ago but who cares, he puts the less in timeless! thank you, Britt Allcroft
ОтветитьThis may sound a bit fast, but remember: People were clearly faster [measured, search], then. This was 'normal' speed.
ОтветитьI met Michel Legrand in his limousine outside the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow in, I think it was 2010. He was a real gentleman. We chatted for a few minutes. I shall forget him and all the beautiful music he wrote, arranged, sung and played.
ОтветитьIt is remarkable how the song moves us from concrete tings like balloons and carousel to totally imaginary ones like the keys jingle or the color of her hair. The act is great, but the lyrics is a piece to admire on its own.
ОтветитьRefereenceed
ОтветитьPoetry set to music. Beautiful lyrics of any song ever written.
ОтветитьThe imagery of this song is spiritual in a way. I could picture a Whirling Dervish, glancing up to heaven, spinning to this tune.
ОтветитьNoel was actor Rex Harrison's son.
ОтветитьThank you for beautiful song .I paint it in oil..
ОтветитьEcoutez la version de Juliette armanet en français de ce standartd signée par l''immense Michel Legrand tirée de la bande musicale de l'affaire thomas crown.
ОтветитьA beautiful masterpiece of exquisite poetry.........❤
ОтветитьNoels version of this song is my favourite, and I think the best. I learnt it and use it as a lullaby, works every time.
ОтветитьЭто одно из лучших произведений.
ОтветитьOf all the mainstream trippy 60s songs, this is very much my favorite.
ОтветитьThose lyrics seemed ahead of its time in a way. I can imagine Bowie singing it.
Ответить1-derful performance of a great song !!! The poetic lyrics and those diminished chords sound so beautiful, haunting, giving the song a mysterious quality that no other tune can match. Blessings to the descendants of Mr Harrison whose comments have enriched this section, and to everyone enjoying this masterpiece, Bendiciones desde Puerto Rico 🇵🇷.
ОтветитьAt 72years old i still love this song!! We have nothing like it today!! All gone now😢
Ответитьlol try titling a song like this NOW a days and seeing it explode
ОтветитьI loved this song
ОтветитьCanta muy fino, con sentimiento, se percibe el sentido de la letra, buen gusto para su sentir.
ОтветитьOkay this is probably a stupid question.... but where is the microphone?
ОтветитьAnother great title for this song would be miscellaneous memories!!😂
ОтветитьThis song is one of my favorites of the late 60s reminds me as a happy Child aged 9 and my late parents....Id never heard of Noel but I had heard of his Dad.
He has a very nice voice very peaceful ✌️
It is not that you dont love me, your problem is you will lose your investment in properties and luxury life, but if you donate one or two to someone dearly to you, you will never be left without nothing....
Ответитьone of the most genius songs ever
Ответитьmethaphoreious wow
ОтветитьBloody terrific song 🎵 👌 🎉❤
ОтветитьTimeless.
ОтветитьI think 1960s were the peak of human civilisation. Space exploration, Beatles, beautiful cinema and scores, and then humanity turned somewhere wrong
ОтветитьWhat a fantastic song !!!!!!
ОтветитьBest version of this great song.
ОтветитьI am generally good at remembering lyrics, no chance here!!!
ОтветитьEs la misma canción que inti illimani se adjudica autoría en 1979( vuelvo) 😮creo que lo plagiaron
ОтветитьHope... and malincony. This is the essence of what I feel with this song. And the masterful way in which it expresses these concepts amazes me. From a composer and musician myself.... I bow before this masterwork from Michel Legrand and everyone who covered it, eventho I dont like covers. This had to be covered for as many different ways as possible.
ОтветитьSwing out sister has a you tube video cover of 'Windmills of your mind. It's absolutely fabulous😁! I believe the video was filmed in front of Bono's house. Corrinne Drewery, the vocalist, such an elegant lady. SOS, probably the most under the radar music artists on the planet.
Ответить.
Ответитьmy uncle went to school with his father rex harrison. I once met him at a school fete in Croydon in 1969
ОтветитьBeautiful song sung beautifully by the handsome Noel Harrison
ОтветитьThis is the theme from the movie 'The Thomas Crown Affair'. I never saw the movie and I am just wondering how this fits the theme of the movie?
