"We'll look into it. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a meeting with the accountant."
ОтветитьTex says “we’ll look into it.”
ОтветитьHe is a majorly incompetent blowhard and it really feels like the man sees through him. Gotta say,I preferred carson in the book. Just more of a no nonsense guy who's outlook on life is in stark kontrast to Chigurhs. Also a good investigator. Woody is way too aloof.
ОтветитьInteresting to see Stephen Root in different characters. Bill Dauterive from King of the Hill always comes to mind.
ОтветитьTalked big but died without firing a shot. 😂
ОтветитьIf he really knew Anton, he would not have begged for his life..
ОтветитьI was checking Milton's desk to see if he still has the red stapler. lol.
ОтветитьStrange way to end the scene…
ОтветитьCIA front.
ОтветитьI didn’t know until the credits that that’s Milton from Office Space
ОтветитьIt’s Stephen Root! He did a great job here, in this kind of movie, why are they surprised for his (also superbly done) role in Barry?
ОтветитьSo why did Carson see Anton on Nov 28th the year before? Seems odd that two hired killers would just bump into each other.
ОтветитьIt’s me. I’m the guy who cheers for Stephen root when he shows up in a movie
ОтветитьSo what does the missing floor mean? Is the boss guy CIA or something?
ОтветитьHarrelson was delightful in this role. He's a powerhouse.
ОтветитьAn hourglass or a crystal ball. How do you think about the future?
Ответитьyessir, I Know him ev’ry he hhhwhhhich hhhway
ОтветитьI was initially disappointed when Carson was killed so easily. However after thinking about it, it really lends to conveying just how dangerous Anton is. This scene lets you know that Carson is someone you call when you really need a situation handled properly. No one else will do. He didn't even get close to taking on Anton, and Anton dispatched of him easily.
ОтветитьCoen brother's deserve a Nobel prize in arts.
ОтветитьThe movie is terrific-the book by Cormac McCarthy was and is a classic. It's a must read for everyone who wants to see what really great writing is like.
Ответитьthose two thought that they were something ...but Anton made quick work of both of them
ОтветитьWells was way over his head. Cost him his life. A wise man would have never gotten involved.
ОтветитьDid I ask you to sit?
No, sir, but you struck me as a man that wouldn’t want to waste a chair 😂
13th floor?
Ответитьwhat's the meaning behind the "missing floor" bit? And if he counted them from the street how can you know that one floor is missing?
ОтветитьIt really is one of the greatest movies of all time, and Stephen Root has a small part, but I submit that Stephen Root steals this scene with his delivery of every line.
ОтветитьHow does Anton get any work? He kills all his references? Oh wait…
ОтветитьMilton has really moved up in the world!
ОтветитьWhy is he so dismissive of Wells???
ОтветитьHe was way out of antons league!
ОтветитьOld buildings in Texas would have a missing floor, the elevator would have a 13th floor but if you press it it would never light up in the elevator.
ОтветитьWell did they look into it? Or did he just say that to allay Wells' concerns?
ОтветитьI hear ciguor took his red stapler
ОтветитьStephen Root is the best in the business !1
ОтветитьHe was great in Cedar Rapids
ОтветитьThis movie is almost flawless. That main character is quite annoying though. But I think it was intentional, as it fits perfectly that fop welsh name
Ответить"I counted the floors to this building from the street.... And there's one missing."
I never understood the reason for that line. Could someone enlighten me, please?
Woody was the first guy to find the briefcase, and he did it without any transponder. He's a smart guy and probably very good at his job, it was just fate and bad luck that Anton got the drop on him.
ОтветитьWhy the he'll did that idiot leave the transponder in the money bag after he found it ?
ОтветитьHe acted tough, but he was screwup. He spotted briefcase on bank of the river, but did not retrieve it. He probably did not want to ruin his fine suit and shiny shoes on muddy river bank. Did he even carry the gun ? When Chigurn confronted him , he was trying to give him 14 000 dollar bribe. Did not have courage to fight with him on hotel staircase when he had some chance, he was 2 metres higher that Chigurn on stairs and Chigurn`s gun was even not pointed to him , he could jump on him and wrestle. But he was afraid . How pathetic. Even Moss `es wife had more courage and dignity.
ОтветитьThat missing floor obviously is a drug lab
ОтветитьA superb first class movie throughout
ОтветитьWoody Harrelson is a lot better than one thinks he is at first sight....or even second. We all loved him in Cheers, but in truth he was wasted there.......too good.
ОтветитьWhen will the sequel come out? I want to know what happened to the missing floor
ОтветитьI don't really understand the interplay between Anton and the Mexicans and Wells. The business guy says the other party is out his product, so I guess Anton represents the producer/cartel? These people in the office are the buyers? And the Mexicans.... they also work for the buyers? Nothing about them seems professional. Why would anyone get them involved if they weren't already?
ОтветитьWhen you want to find Anton Cigurh, you bring the best. You bring in Mickey Knox.
ОтветитьAlmost like that was a downfall and the point.
ОтветитьThe ambiguity of the organization and Woody Harrelson's character just add more intensity. Granted Harrelson's character was easily killed but he survived Chigurh, maybe even almost killed him, the speculation and theories you can play out with in your mind is great
Ответитьthe 'counted the floors' thing may seem inconsequential but I think it speaks to his total attention to detail. Good stuff
