So You first wash the engine, then You go for the hood?(-_-)

Hi Jim, my E30 had horrible tail lights. Someone has polished them but messed them up pretty bad. I think I can fix it myself but I'm unsure what polish pad to start with. Do you have tips? Probably you don't have time to react but I figured it's worht a shot :)!
