I think Its interesting especially for people Who are into fitness to see how 5k calories a day can change the body of a woman Who used to be super ripped. I agree with you that eating 5k calories is not the right thing like wtf just eat like a normal Person no woman her height needs 5k calories.

I agree with your approach to exercise and health. She’s already had over 1M views in just a few days. It does make you wonder how much of this is publicity related. Anyway, like your approach overall and I’m pretty sure that if you were a psychologist you’d be a ‘behaviourist’ LOL. I respect that. Just do it already. ОтветитьYou hit the nail on the head. It's WHAT she eats that is the problem. Huge sugar spikes and bottoming out from eating all those carbs, etc. No wonder she's hungry all the time. And I know she's tried intermittent fasting, but with the way/what she eats no wonder it didn't work.

ОтветитьI LOVE your take in this video. I’m Keto and I’ve been encouraged by you to eat mostly meat and eggs during my 4 hour window. Super satisfied and never hungry. Great advice. I lift heavy too, but I’m being lazy cuz it’s summer 😎 (I sometimes do a three day fast and I definitely fight moments of hunger during those times)
Ответитьyour "advice" is basically telling people to have an eating disorder. extreme hunger is not a good thing. this girl does not need people like you sabotaging her recovery. please do your research. eating disorders are serious MENTAL conditions that no one can control. I get that it is challenging for non-sufferers to empathize but it is absolute hell. people use your videos to feed their anorexia, stop.

ОтветитьI eat when I'm hungry and stop when I'm full.. my mom gets mad because I always leave food on my plate LOL because I'm too full.. I'm super skinny I'm not obese what you talking about! I think unless you've messed yourself up, I think a healthy human should get the "full" signal at the right time because a healthy body doesn't want to be overweight

ОтветитьThat’s everybody’s dream to just eat 5,000+ calories without restriction. Sometimes I want to go out to eat a whole carrot cake cheesecake for a “cheat day” but I bake a whole salmon fillet and eat that instead and the craving goes away.
ОтветитьOh boy. Where to start? When Ms. Buttermore here eats 4000 calories a day, she will do damage to her body from excess glucose. Eventually, though her weight will level off, at which point she (and others) will mistake for a "faster metabolism ie, "burn rate"" of calories, which I believe is patently false. In fact, those excess calories are going toward additional damage to her brain and body, but she'll believe her metabolism is "faster"...but that's simply not the case. This is what people don't get. For some people, excess glucose will go to fat. For others it will go to glaucoma, neuropathy, Alzheimer's, kidney failure, the list goes on and on. Excess glucose is going to damage you one way or another. In her case, she has admitted that her period stopped...good luck trying to conceive in the future if you keep this up Stephanie.

ОтветитьOh my, you are so so so uneducated. Read a book, or even just an article, on intuitive eating. She’s going through a process by which you RETURN to an intuitive eater. She’s healing her relationship with food, and eventually her appetite will return to normal. There are plenty of studies that prove this process, where overshoot weight gain happens, and then the person returns to their natural set point.
And the chemistry of human body IS complex. You can’t simplify in the way that you’re trying to. It’s almost as though you can’t comprehend the complexities yourself, and so you’re trying to simplify it.
What’s with the constant snobby eye rolls?
Boyy, you have quite a big ego problem. You being fit doesn't give you the right to talk about eating disorders -read the scientific studies on eating disorders first. I'm guessing you didn't face any huge hurdles in your fitness journey, and that's why your'e talking so ignorantly about this topic. Well, get your ego in check because you may have some problem in the future where no one understands your situation or empathizes with you-and thats when its going to hit you.

ОтветитьThanks for your reaction! This was so needed. Also I love your emphasis on how there is a healthy middle between starving and stuffing yourself. Furthermore the fact that she isn’t eating whole foods and that she ignores the health risks that come with her decision are not to be underestimated.
However, I do have one question. While I agree with you about the fact that you get even hungrier when always eating I’m wondering if eating once a day is actually good for all human beings. I experience myself really moody and exhausted when my bloodsugar drops when I haven’t eaten in the last 4 hours. I eat a lot of protein (meat, diary, eggs, lentils,...), fruits and veggies and try to avoid simple carbs and processed sugar. This way of eating works perfectly good for me but I still would love your opinion about it, as you seem super convinced of your eat-once-a-day-but-only-meat-and-eggs diet.

ОтветитьWow 5,000 calories is a lot but she is still skinny! Due to a new medication I'm on I get hungry more often. But I still don't eat more than 2,200 calories a day. And the 4 days a week that I workout I gain back some of those calories. I never tacked my calories before my new medication but I usually only ate twice a day. Late in the morning 10-11am and then around 3-5pm.
ОтветитьEggs are high in cholesterol which some people have to be careful with. Meat is protein which will keep you full and has a complete set of amino acids which will keep you healthy. Red meat should be eaten in moderation. For those who are vegetarian or vegan tofu and soybeans are the only plant based food that has the same complete set of amino acids. But if meat or animal products are not a part of your diet you need to find foods that have protein because they will keep you full. But not just protine. You still need to eat well rounded foods that will keep your diet balanced and give you all the nutrients your body requires. A well rounded diet goes for everyone no mater your diet restrictions.
ОтветитьYou can’t just go from eating alllllll the food to going to OMAD. I think OMAD is the best way, but it’s hard for me to do OMAD so I eat two times a day. I still have a small load of leafy greens with my meals but it’s mostly meat, eggs, bacon, healthy animal fats (butter, tallow, and natural fats from meat—-beef, lamb, pastured pork, dark chicken, duck and chicken eggs from the farm).... I was unable to eat enough at one meal to get to OMAD without feeling sick so I went back to 2MAD. For hormone purposes I do have a sweet potato here and there. But to eat 4 sweet potatoes along with breakfast is just asking for blood sugar imbalances and not to mention the gut issues. Not for me.
