Help me here! i have a chevy cruze 2012 .
i just did a coolant leak.. it overheated first. but then i took the thermostat sensor of and put it back on and it did not overhead. cool and hot air was nice.. i did not have any caramel oil from dipstick or gaskets or coolant reservoir. but, when i turn my car on i have small normal white smoke coming out .. and some drops of waters ( like 1 drop every 6 sec from the exhausts that do not stop.. its it ok ?
None of these symptoms but low on coolant? Any ideas
ОтветитьAll of these symptoms and I’m just know finding this video I could have used it a month ago to prevent and prepare myself 😢
ОтветитьI have a honda legend 3.5 and the under the radiator cap there was kind of a coolant coloured paste (pinkish purple) i do not have any of the other symptoms but that has worried me abit.. I think maybe someone has mixed coolants and its caused the paste. Any ideas? Thanks
ОтветитьJust had a water pump and alternator changed now my engine gets extremely hot soon as I turn it on my coolant level is fine and no there's a bit of white smoke out the exhaust
ОтветитьGreat information. Very helpful. Thank you!
ОтветитьDoes radiator water decrease indicate this problem?
ОтветитьI got a massive coolant leak. None of the other systems. But my car did overheat and started to lose power and shut down. I put coolant in and it drove just fine but says I have no oil (just got it changed Friday)
ОтветитьYeah it definitely has to be the head gasket I have a 93 GMC Sonoma and it's overheating and eating up coolant but it's not leaking out anywhere there's huge white puffs of smoke when I crank it Aaron and idles rough after driving it so there is absolutely no doubt that it is the head gasket
ОтветитьJust had one 😒
Ответитьwe have the POSTTONGBC here
ОтветитьQuran 112
ОтветитьSo my car isn’t running hot or anything major but why is my coolant level all the way up past max but my fan or meter doesn’t go past and I have a 07 charger r/t
Ответитьisn't SOME white smoke normal?
ОтветитьI have a question so I saw you said the car will over heat at any scenario on my case my car only starts over heating when I step on the gas temps go to up to 250 but it will cool down fast if I let it park and sit for 5 minutes or less my coolant temps drop to 199 I don’t have white smoke coming off my exhaust tips from that bit of information do you think my head gaskets are bad ?
ОтветитьIs that a 7.62 round? Or 5.56
ОтветитьWhat if the. Car runs hot but doesnt drink through coolant
ОтветитьMy 08 infiniti g35 is leaking Coolant looks like from the block no codes and coolant reservoir is not going low. Car not heating running normal daily. I recently had cover valve gasket replaced and job was done good car had no problems after the repair.
ОтветитьYou’re the best man I would not expect better explanation than you did
Ответитьi have coolant coming out my tailpipe and im losing coolant also my cylinder head temp sensor is bad my guauge is all over the place , i have a new sensor to install also recently i noticed it dors have a rough idle as soon as i step on the gas it goes away it a 2004 expedition 4.6 with 170k
Ответитьi have ALL the symptoms 🤦🏾♂️
ОтветитьMine overheats real in like a 30 minutes drive, and when I arrive at my destination I hear boiling water from the engine in the same time the water be dripping out what might be the problem?
ОтветитьWhat if I only have the last symptom? And the car eats oil like crazy. It’s not leaking anywhere. Just burning up. And it KEEPS blowing spark plugs. One of the garages we went to, said it was the head gasket??? What do you think? Oh and it smells like rotten eggs.
ОтветитьI did like the video till I couldn't hear a word you said due to the overbearing sound of a car being revved up in the background
ОтветитьMy vehicle only blows white smoke when at initial start only but not when running or after start! It does not overheat. What could it be? And it only happens rarely
ОтветитьSo anyone in the comments I hope I can find some help I just bought a car with a over heating problem and I replaced the thermostat and flushed the water out of the cooling system and I got a new reservoir cap and I put 50/50 in the car and so now the car doesn’t over heat but my coolant reservoir is boiling and coming out of the overflow and so I lose my coolant and that causes my car to overheat after the fluid is gone I’m trying to figure out if it’s the head gasket or maybe something else the guy I bought it from is willing to take the car back if it’s the head gasket so I know the guy wasn’t just trying to get rid of the car I just need a vehicle bad so anyone that can share some knowledge would be greatly appreciated the car is a 1999 32 valve northstar V8 Cadillac
ОтветитьGreat… I’ve got every one!
ОтветитьBro, go blow ur godamn nose or take some sudafed
Ответить👍🙌🙌👌
ОтветитьI'm having an issue where my car loses coolant is the head gasket the issue?
ОтветитьGo blow your nose you sound stuffed up and it's annoying lol
Ответитьbro you need a decongestant
ОтветитьMy car does not overheat until i drive for some time, and mixed highway and city drive (40-50min),, does this fit symptom number 1
ОтветитьNice video you got!. I changed my vehicle (es 350 2009) Top gasket due to over heating.
After the top gasket burn. I replaced it and changed the radiator to double face and chnage the water pump. I further replaced the AC compressor.
Is there any other advice you have for me? For now the car is very stable and I'm always watching the temperature.
My murano 2016 white smoke from exhust
ОтветитьI have all 4 rn🤦🏽♂️🔫
ОтветитьDude! Best explaination ever!
ОтветитьThanx
ОтветитьVery helpful
ОтветитьOne other thing you didnt mention and that is a high pressure cooling system. Compression from the cylinders leaks past the head gasket into the water jackets in the head causing high cooling system pressure. Should have made the top 6.
ОтветитьWhat if there is exhaust gases leak to external of the engine....u simply lose compression and you see exhaust smoke coming from the side of the engine...!?
ОтветитьLet me share with you my situation and ask a question after. My car starts really slow, you have to turn ignition on with your foot on the pedal all the way down to get it started. Once started it loses power and get a lot of white smoke 💨,with gasoline smell. I noticed that the when accelerated the radiator hose gets really inflated with air pressure, and the coolant looks oily. I took of the terminals that connects spark plugs they were dry but with smell of like a mix of alcohol and gas. Or gas and water.
Do you think juts changing the gasket would solve the issue??
Or is it normal to get the gas smell in the spark plugs holes?? No oil there though and the engine oil es clean, no even a sign of water or anything weird in it.
Thank you for your help.
I got one that is stomping me and many others. Maybe you can help??? 2012 Charger with the 3.6 overheated almost 2 years ago from a failed oil cooler. Surprise surprise. Replaced cooler, radiator, hoses, thermostat and housing (multiple times), water pump and head gaskets. Still getting oil in coolant, but no coolant in the oil. Runs perfect for a few weeks and then starts to overheat. I can flush it all out and replace the thermostat again and it starts all over. No idle issues. Performance is fine. Any ideas? Appreciate it!!!
ОтветитьI'm not sure if I have a blown head my coolant has been staying topped off since I bought the car. It's been about 2 months now. However when I did the oil change the oil was black but when I went to take of the oil cap and add engine oil I saw a thumb sized spot that was milky on the inside of the cap and also around where the cap sits.
Ответить"You forgot EXHAUST GASES crossing into COOLANT causing air bubles in coolant reservoir without over heating.
ОтветитьYou need to get something for that cold or lay off the Coke mate 😂 very informative video though
ОтветитьThis happened to my car, had all the symptoms and I didn’t know but got it into the shop before it got worse. I’m sure in January when I got my oil change is when i now notice the first symptom of milky oil. Mechanic told me it could be from cold weather and roving short distances. Thank you for the explanation of the head gasket, I didn’t know the purpose of it.
ОтветитьDamn listening to this made my eyes watery somebody get this man some nasal strips 🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьGetting my headgasket replaced and head skimmed. My symptoms was light white smoke out the exhaust when at a traffic light. No over heating. However, my car would sometimes start limping and misfiring (it's not sparks or anything trust me). The other thing is it was running pretty rich and guzzling fuel. Mechanic said I caught the failure really early causing a slight compression issue in cylinder 2. Coolant wasnt running out quickly but he noticed when doing the bubble test a bit of bubbling was happening. It is an MGZR which even though it had a headgasket replaced 40k ago, it wasn't a good one. They are skimming, cleaning and putting an updated, modern and better gasket in. I'm hoping this fixes my issues I should be getting it back tomorrow.. after spending nearly £1k on all these upgrades and repairs.
