Thank you for a great interview, love Dale Earnhardt Jr, a class act.
ОтветитьWhat a story! You can tell that he loved his DAD, and respected his father. What a man! Both of them are fantastic guys and true inspirations! ❤❤❤
ОтветитьThey need to make a movie about Dale Sr. And Dale Jr. like they did Ford vs Ferrari
ОтветитьFather / son relationships are always complicated. A father carries expections for his son to do better in life, be more succesful and don't repeat generational mistakes. The words and emotions donn't always come out right but the intention is what matters more. We are a flawed species for sure. Jr. Is a proud legacy.
ОтветитьI hear that lol
ОтветитьCC here love's you DJ
ОтветитьHe made you create your own shadow so you wouldn’t have to live in his.
ОтветитьAnd yes, he kept up with you always. He always knew.
ОтветитьHe never wanted you to feel satisfied. He was a smart man for that. Had he done different, you wouldn’t have become the Dale Jr. we know today.
ОтветитьWhen Dale Jr stopped racing we stopped watching the races
Ответитьcrazy story. I saw Dale Sr car he died in. As it was straight off the track in Lincoln Neb. My x bro in law was the engineer that designed soft walls after this horrible accident....😢
ОтветитьJust saw this video. I don't think jr has his GED either! Man, his English is horrible?
ОтветитьOne of my favorite podcasts this is at least the 5th time I’ve watched great job to both
ОтветитьGreat segment!
ОтветитьI love Dale Jr he was my guy when he was racing good kid
ОтветитьGreat interview. Dale Jr is certainly a good human being.
ОтветитьEver since Dale Sr, died I have never watched another race since then, the day that he was killed I watched that race but I didn't know at the time he was killed I had went to church with my family and when I came back home from church my dad had stopped me as I was going to my house and that's when I found out that Dale Dr was killed in the wreck, and that same year of 2001 my dad died in April of that year.
ОтветитьMy family was a big NASCAR family back in the day. We were Earnhardt fans and when he passed you would’ve thought it was my Dads brother or something. He mourned for a very long time. He followed Jr. for a while after but it seriously broke my Dad. NASCAR was never the same for him and it slowly faded to memories for us.
ОтветитьAlways love this interview...how genuine Jr is. Such a great story teller
ОтветитьJoe brought out a form a pride I don’t think he knew he had. Dads are important.
ОтветитьNigga he talked to you about racing stfu it’s no way
ОтветитьDale Sr seemed like he was a shitty father.
ОтветитьFolks talk Shite ! - But Dale Jr - Real as it gets !! - Luv ya always
ОтветитьWhen he said the bit about homework he went to say smoking weed
ОтветитьDidn't teach about racing...
Bullsh*t
Thank you Joe , good video great interview. RIP #3
Ответить3
ОтветитьI love it that's father to son on real life. Dame
ОтветитьDale u have a great perspective- joe ❤️
ОтветитьDale Sr must have been a hard person to impress, which it looks like it took away from his relationship with his son.
ОтветитьWho can’t love dale jr
ОтветитьA really odd relationship. Dale was so focused on himself he didn’t put any focus on Jr.
ОтветитьSounds like Dale Sr. Didnt care much until he figured out that Jr. Could make him some money. Once he started winning races and making money in Dales car he became a father. Real nice guy
ОтветитьIf you don’t like Dale Jr the human, it’s definitely you…
Ответить16 in 8th grade! That’s impressive! I’d be proud of him if he was my son!
ОтветитьDale Sr kept him humble.
ОтветитьI have always had the utmost respect for Jr.
ОтветитьI appreciate Joe asking a question and then shutting up and just letting Dale have moments of silence while essentially reliving it in his mind until he can put it into words. One of the reasons Joes show is so good.
ОтветитьWhat a shit father
ОтветитьDamn, basically same relationship i got with my dad. Huge respect to this man for everything he had to go through. 2001 was one of the worst years ever, too much was planned that year.
Ответитьwhat wonderful human being
ОтветитьSenior Was a Great Dad,,, Just Look At The Kids... Kelly,,, June Bug,,, Kerry... What An IQ Senior Must of Had,,,, The Kids,,, All,,, Are So Smart,,,, Not "OVERLY" Well Spoken,,, But Smart As Hell.... "June Bug",,,, As a Kid,,, Was a Beautiful Little Boy,,,, I Mean ,,,, Beautiful...
ОтветитьI was a 30 year old man. Divorced. father of a 5 and 3 year old kids and i had custody. He told me that this is the best thing for my kids and me. I was so mad that he said that. He was right. Miss you ever day pops. You should see your great grand kids. What a mess
Ответить16 in 8th grade??
ОтветитьDale Sr. Was a crappy father…. That’s the truth.
ОтветитьRaising children, particularly boys, and I wouldn’t know, but it is a fine line between good discipline and abuse. It’s all in the way you accept it. He was trying to teach you to be a man and he succeeded. I had a good dad, he wasn’t perfect, but he was a king.
ОтветитьTough love builds character. Be thankful
