The oled is nice, but apparently very prone to screen burn. Mine has a slight orange stain at the bottom of it. That’s only really noticeable when it turned off, but it’s still very annoying. So I ordered a 2000 because my OCD couldn’t take it anymore. 😅

4th reason th d PS Vita didn't do well, the price of the proprietary memory card. I recently bought both of them and jailbreak both. Each have over 70 games, and I got L2R2 and L3R3 triggers for both.

Your info about batteries is not correct.

1000 w/wifi has better battery life because it has an OLED screen. Turning off LEDS for "true blacks" saves a lot of energy. If you have the 3G model, your argument is correct.
2000 model has worst battery life by two reasons: LCD screen and internal memory (1GB draining battery while vita is turned on).

Just do everyone knows PSVita 1000 actually has internal 1 GB as well. Sony kept it locked and when I modded mine I got 1.02GB on my 1000 model.

Oh yeah another bit to keep in mind a 1000 is technically speaking best for modding which helps deal w/ the memory card issue. It's got the largest amount of support (2000 isn't bad still larger battery is a definite consideration and largely drives down to preference plus use case).

Don't forget, the vita 1000 had hall effect sticks, which never drift. Although the 2000 looks much nicer.

Just bought a A vita 2000, so excited! Me personally I prefer a lighter feel as well as a Matt finish, so still ended up going with the 2000
