Love this ❤❤❤ this was my childhood
ОтветитьBased of Reader Rabbit's Math Ages 6-9 by Steven Spielberg
Ответить(Super Smash Bros. Squad crossover)
Sam: Reader! Super Smash Bros. Squad! Over here! Our race is starting!
[Reader and the super smash bros. squad look at the big sailboats in place.]
Reader: Wow, Sam! Look at all those cool boats! Which one is yours?
Me: Which one is it?
Sam: Welcome aboard... (revealing his boat) …the Sea Lion!
[Sam reveals his boat, the Sea Lion, a small wooden boat with no rudder.]
Kion: The sea Lion?
Ryder: Woah, how’s that for such a small looking boat!
Pups: Woah!
Reader: (shocked, feeling uneasy) Oh...! Are you sure this boat is seaworthy?
Chase: Are you sure about this?
Sam: (from on the Sea Lion, behind the steering wheel) Sure I'm sure!
Danny Phantom: Ok, if that’s what you built!
Reader: Well, okay captain. Let's sail.
SpongeBob: Let’s go!
[Reader and the Super Smash Bros. Squad get on Sam's boat. The boat race starts.]
Race Announcer: (offscreen loudspeaker) Sailors, on your mark... Get set... Go!
[As the announcer shouts "go," the other sailboats race off fast, stunning the Sea Lion with Reader and Sam for a few seconds. The rest of the Wordville critters back up off the deck. The Sea Lion starts sailing into the race.]
Sam: Reader, tie up the ropes!
Reader: Which ones?
Sam: The ones by the rudder.
Reader: Uh, Sam, there's no rudder on this boat.
Tucker: Because there is none on that boat, dude!
Sam: Oh...
Reader: How will we steer?
Sam: Don't worry, I'll figure it out.
[Sam is seen controlling the Sea Lion behind the steering wheel, with Reader behind him.]
Reader: Gee Sam, those other boats are so far ahead that I can't even see them.
Sam: Don't worry, I know a shortcut! This way!
Reader: But, that way's not even on the map!
Me: Don’t worry you two, we’ll find it!
Mr. Krabs: Keep a sharp lookout, SpongeBob. Accordin’ to the map, we're close to the finish line!
SpongeBob: Really? Can we see the map?
Mr. Krabs: Uh... no! Only the captain can lay eyes on the map.
SpongeBob: Okie dokie, then.
Mr. Krabs: Arrgh, a pirate doesn't say, "okie dokie, then." A pirate says, "arrgh!"
SpongeBob: Okie... oops. [laughs while a jellyfish flies by him] I mean... [standing up] arrgh! Captain Krabs. [his eyes widen and sees a storm nearby]
Marshall: Uh-oh
[The boat is seen heading into a tropical storm. It rocks across the giant waves as a strong wind blows and heavy rain falls.]
Reader: Hey Sam, I thought this was supposed to be a shortcut!
Sonic: Cause we are heading into a big storm!
Sam: It is! As soon as we get through this storm, we'll see the finish line straight ahead!
SpongeBob: Captain, we're about to hit... uhh... I mean... arrgh, Capt., arrgh, we're, arrgh, about, arrgh, to hit, arrgh...
Mr. Krabs: Out with it man, arrgh!
Patrick: I, arrgh, think, arrgh, he's trying, arrgh, to say...!
Sonic: Look out!
[The boat gets caught in the mist during the storm, and all of a sudden the boat crashes onto an uncharted island, known as Pirate Island, breaking apart.]
Patrick: Land ho!
Bolt: What happened?
Sam: We've crashed on an unknown island! Our boat's gone! What else could possibly go wrong?!
[A wood piece falls off the remains of the boat and into the ocean. Reader, who got knocked off the boat in the crash, sleeves slightly torn, gets his head stuck in the sand, which he struggles out of.]
Rocky: Reader, are you alright?
Reader: I think so, Rocky! Oh, it's going to take a lot of work to fix this mess...
(Later)
Penelope: Uh, pardon me, but, did you lose something?
Sam: Penelope! What are you doing here?! Oh, it’s so good to see a familiar face! Can you help us?
Marshall: Yeah, isn’t there anything that you can be able to do to help us?
[One of the Pirats spies on Reader, Sam, the super smash bros. squad and Penelope from a distance with a spyglass.]
Penelope: Well, unless you're really good swimmers, you need somebody to help you. And since I live on the island, I'm proudly the best parrot for the job! Now, let me see. You need to build a boat. Lucky for you, there are boat pieces hidden all over this island.
Reader: That's it!
Sam Manson: What’s it!
Reader: Come on, Sam. Even the rest of you, super smash bros. squad! We just need to find enough pieces to put a boat together, and then we can go home!
Martain Kratt: Yep! It’s just as simple as that!
Sam: What a great idea! Let's go!
Reader: I'll stay here and make camp. You bring me the pieces, and I'll build the boat.
Bob: And I better do the same, too!
Pac-Man: Not bad, Bob!
Cylindria: Yep!
Spiral: Down with that!
Chris Kratt: You got that right!
Sam: Penelope, the super smash bros. squad and I will go looking for the right boat parts. (Walks away)
Penelope: Okay! Follow me! I know this island like the back of my, uh... wing.
SpongeBob: Great, let’s go!
[Penelope flies to lead the way, with Sam and the super smash bros. squad walking behind her.]
Story: Reader Rabbit reluctantly joins his pal Sam the Lion and the Super Smash Bros. Squad, who has entered his dilapidated sailboat in a race. With no rudder and a motley sail, the whole squad quickly begin to trail the other racers. Sam suggests a shortcut, which leads them into unknown territory. As if that isn’t bad enough, a tremendous storm ensues, shipwrecking them on Pirate Island, and the boat parts collapsed. As the whole squad begin to despair, Penelope the Parrot, an island inhabitant, comes to their aid. She encourages Sam and the Super Smash Bros. Squad to build a new boat, using parts that have been hidden around the island. Meanwhile, the Pirates fear that Sam, Reader and the Super Smash Bros. Squad are present to steal their cheese. They have a secret plan to keep our heroes from building their boat and leaving the island, and they will stop at nothing to ensure its success.
Ответитьi almost feel like crying. this brings back so many memories.
ОтветитьThis definitely brings back my childhood i really emjoyed thos game. I remember my teachers would let me play for free time or as a reword for completed work or good behavior
ОтветитьHello nostalgia my old friend. 😢 😁
ОтветитьPsst. Captain Ratbeard is voiced by Charles Martinet, aka Mario!
ОтветитьI wish I had that game.
ОтветитьUnlike Reader Rabbit's Math Ages 4-6 (my most favorite Reader Rabbit math game), this installment had a storyline. A fabulous storyline about being shipwrecked on an island and solving various math problems. I had fun with it many years ago. Thanks very much for uploading this walkthrough video since it brings back good childhood memories!
ОтветитьOmg I Used to play this all the time
ОтветитьI remember playing this game back in 05, 06 and 07. I actually had a three pack that featured this game as well as Reader Rabbit Reading ages 6-9 and ClueFinders 3rd Grade Adventures.
Ответитьoh my gosh! I remember playing this as a little kid! I wonder if reader rabbit is still a thing these days.
ОтветитьTexas. Rock-A-Bye-Baby has epilepsy. Me and my friends were scaring the pirates.
Ответитьwhile normal children were playing mario and pokemon my sibling and I were unlocking all of the Pi-Rats songs and belting them out at full volume.
ОтветитьMy parents bought this computer software for me to improved my mathematics skills.

ОтветитьHurray
ОтветитьYou know what Sam you made the shape look like the state of Kansas
ОтветитьHey Sam that shape looks like Colorado
ОтветитьIt's too bad The Learning Company haven't decided to apply these great learning activities/methods into apps for devices (something similar I guess would be ABCMouse but I don't think it reaches up to the excellence Jumpstart, Fisher-Price, Living Books, Broderbund or the Learning Company, among others, have put into their games). I think this is what the world lacks, especially for children who can't even read or do math or think logically. I really do appreciate all these channels uploading these old games. But there is one I have been searching for a while now: Aesop's Fables (1997) Danny Glover as the narrator. Anyone remember that?
ОтветитьI remember this game but I couldn't finish it. Let's just say I was sunk.
ОтветитьWow, I’ve been trying to find this game for YEARS. this was my childhood! all I could remember was the banana peels and the pizza with bugs 😂
THANK YOU!
I played this all the time when I was a kid. I'll never forget playing this when I was 7-8 years old and played this game for several hours.
ОтветитьI am indeed to high for this ... Thank you for posting this is my childhood .
