THE LONG DARK: Ptarmigan

I play on a save that I started before the frontier update. Most of the new stuff spawned, like flour, potatoes, recipes, the revolver variants, etc...but not the ptarmigan even though I check all the ptarmigan spawn locations of a region in the same day, I never saw one. Are they really super rare or am I am scruwed ?

🤔why does your Astid have Will's voice? Is this something that regularly happens with Personality?

All these rocks, rifles, revolvers and bows. A shotgun would be nice!

i tried to download personality mod which you as well use here, yet it was unusable with this latest frontier cooking version

Ash Canyon:

1. A flock near the cave reached by climbing/"goat walking" to the rope bridge going over Shattered Cove.
2. A flock near the creek flowing from Gold Mine/Mining Camp. It replaces the previous Rabbit Grove.
3. A flock at Homesteader's Respite.
4. A flock near the bottom most rope climb up to High Meadow.

Broken Railroad:

1. Flock right in front of Rickety Foot Bridge (Birch Sapling side).
2. Plateau above the Maintenance Yard (next to Maple Saplings).

Hushed River Valley:

1. A Flock near a rock Arch, south (straight on the crossing) from the Many Falls Vista climbing site.
2. A Flock near the western most cave at the same plateau as Hushed River, reached for example by following the map edge from Offset Falls or from the middle entrance to the "North Ice cave".
3. A Flock at Peak Cave.

Mountain Town:

1. A flock typically scavenges around the Picnic Area.
2. A flock can be found down the slope next to the bear cave past Spruce Falls Bridge.

Pleasant Valley:

1. A flock can be found in the area of Signal Hill near Maple Sapling on the right side.
2. A flock may spawn at the top of the lower rope climb north of Signal Hill

Mystery Lake:

1. A flock near Camp Office near the rocks across from the front door.
2. A flock may appear at Lake Overlook.
3. A flock can be seen near the potential Prepper Cache above Dave's Quiet Clearing.
4. A flock can be sighted at the top of the path leading to Forestry Lookout.

Forlorn Muskeg:

1. A flock can be seen at the Muskeg Overlook plateau, where the eastern radio tower stands.
2. A flock can be seen at the plateau south of the tunnel to Broken Railroad.
3. East Marsh Ridge

Timberwolf Mountain:

1. A flock scavenges between the ropeclimb from Crystal Lake and "Cave C"/Engine on the narrowed ledge near a corpse and/or deer corpse shot with a broken Arrow. You would take this route if
traveling to Blackrock region.
2. A flock directly in front of an unnamed cave on the right(east) side of the map. Reached when going towards the Ash Canyon transition cave after crossing the "Fallen Tree bridge" bridge over Echo Ravine.

Transfer Pass:

1. West of Vacant Depot going towards Conductor's Dropoff.
2. South east of Loitering Marsh.

Forsaken Airfield:

1. A flock nests at a small pond within the rocky one way paths leading from beneath the rope climb near Justy's Hovel to the regions exit.
2. They are sometimes found in a clearing near Drift Island Cabin.
