There are areas on the map that are extremely demanding, such as the forest of huge trees or the snow, and playing in those areas is unplayable; you get at most 10 fps guaranteed.

It's not the developers that are greedy, they actually want to release a good game. However the same can't be said for their publisher/owner, Snail games. They rushed this release because they spent ark money that they did'nt have on an EV project that failed hard. Nitrado bailed them out with a hard deadline, ASA had to be released before the end of october on steam. The contract is public for anyone to see. Don't blame WC for all of this, mostly Snail and nitrado are to blame for this crappy release.

I used to play games 30fps 1080p @ Med settings to save on GPU cost and electricity bill.
Now i'm doing it because it require full power of my system.
Well look like soon i'm going to tolerate 22fps 720p @ Low...

The situation with ARK: Survival Ascended is quite complicated and things did not exactly go how you think. The game had to be released by the end of October and despite console users still waiting for the game to release, at least they had to release it on Steam, because of some contracts that said they had to have the game out by November. Because of that, the game was made very quickly, by a not very huge team, who probably began working on the game like 5-6 months ago. And to add on that, they had no prior experience on working with UE5, which basically was the reason for them to create this remake. Sadly, we have what we have right now, with the game running like crap, crashing often and having a highly disappointed community...

Can you test an RTX 3060 12gb on this game too? I have one and play ark survival EVOLVED with it on a mixture of medium high and epic settings with 60-90FPS average at 1080p full resolution scale!
