Strange though it may seem, a straight up video like this, with honest and unbiased commentary, is a rare and welcome thing in this day and age. Fair play, Greg. I admire your neutrality, lack of agenda and commitment to just telling it like it actually is (not to be confused with the political 'like it is' nowadays which cannot be trusted. I have learned a lot from this, and I'm pleased to report that 16+ minutes is no burden when the content is good.
Ответитьa generation one toyota corolla could get 52 miles a gallon
ОтветитьOn the Gen 3 model you should talk about the EGR issues. If you clean out the EGR before 100K miles, it causes a lot less issues with the head gasket later on it's life. Toyota does not recommend this service but if you do it, it will greatly lengthen the life of that engine.
ОтветитьMy wife just bought prius hybrid 2020 model . As you said it's reliable and efficient that things everyone looking for. Most people are also looking a partner like that ignore the makeup 💄😅,.. which looks good on the fourth generation prius..
ОтветитьOne of the best car reviews I've seen. Well done
ОтветитьI don't know why he didn't say this but a lot of Gen 3 Priuss have head gasket failure.
ОтветитьI think the 4th generation went from ugly to cool, I have a 2017, I think the front looks fantastic, while the side profile is good, the back is - well it grows on you. To me the early Prius models were just an appliance, a EV / Hybrid so it had to look different, but came out looking like a cookie cutter car. Now in later generations they aren't so uncommon, they just went for a real statement of form and function, sure it's a love it or hate it car, passion, isn't that what all cars should ultimately be...
ОтветитьThanks. I didn't know anything about a Prius. Judging by their price, they are pretty sought-after.
ОтветитьBrilliant Man brilliant content . Is the 2010 or the 2012 or 13? Any good please respond
ОтветитьI was just about to buy a 2010 model. This video was very helpful, thanks!
Ответитьhi I have an option to buy 2011 model toyota prius (150kilometers) and 2011 Mitsubhi outlander (97Kilometers) which is better?
ОтветитьThank you, sir. I want to buy one of this for our daughter
ОтветитьET face
ОтветитьYou gave me a good laugh..very informative too 😊
ОтветитьGot a bit odd there when you started talking about the appearance of the gen 4. A throw away "I personally don't like the look of it" would have been fine. But good points raised with the touch controls inside.
Ответитьi have to disagree about 4th gen in the sense truck drivers know how gen 2 and 3 prius(es?) look and tend to try to floor it around them and often its so easy to tell from far away but 4th gen is more sleek and subtle. This is an excellent and very chill video nonetheless and I learned a lot.
ОтветитьGreat video buddy 🙏🏻
ОтветитьUK doesn't have those headlamps. Our 2009reg gen 2 has never had a battery change at 14yrs old. (other than the little boot battery which seems to last aroun 5-6yrs.. The 2010 has also been no bother with engine or Hybrid battery.
ОтветитьI have the 3d generation and nothing bad has happened to me with this car. Sorry but it's unreliable what I just heard from the expert gentleman.
Ответитьprobably just don't take the Gen 4 Prius to Moholland rd..
ОтветитьThis guy seems pretty intelligent, but then all of a sudden he gets his opinion on the prime. I like the looks. I also like the looks of the GEN four regular Prius.
ОтветитьI have a Prius 2007, it’s super reliable, it has 230,000 miles on it and it runs better and have less fix than my 2013 Ford edge. I’m going to get another prius, reliability is Toyota!
ОтветитьThank you, I really appreciated your input about Prius's, even the cons.
ОтветитьHi, a question: When buying should you look at rather the year of manufacture or the kilometers?
Example: Year of construction 2004 and 92,000 km or rather 2008 and 200000 km for the same price?
Thank you very much.
I think the gen 4 prius looks amazing ngl , to each their own !
ОтветитьWhy do you hate so hard on the gen 4. It makes me want it even more
ОтветитьQuestion! I'm looking for a Prius and I wanna stay away från year model 2010, but when is it made? Is it from June 2009 to June 2010 or is it made from Januari 2010 - December 2010? Thank you for a great video.
ОтветитьI like the 4th gen prius. I just got one from my dad and it has 21000 miles. Looks beautiful
ОтветитьI just bought a 2010 Prius with 150k miles. Now I'm scared 😨
ОтветитьWhen you came to the Prius IV, which me and my wife are looking for right now (and bought if the prices were not so extreme), I was quite disappointed by you going so negative suddenly. We like the looks, and we do not want a car with too many miles on it already, so we kind of were set on our choice. Oh well, at least you are honest.
ОтветитьThanks for sharing
ОтветитьGen2 2005 184K - just had the battery pack swapped for a rebuilt. Inverter pump replaced three times. Peeling is an issue on dash. Cloth seats don't hold up -- good summary.
Ответитьzadne amerykanxkie auto nie ma szans w tej konkurencji ! zajmij sie czyms na czym sie znasz !
ОтветитьLooks cute to me 😂, talk technical details, leave opinions alone
ОтветитьHuh.... I have a 2010 3rd gen and I haven't had to replace any bulbs Whatsoever but I guess I'll keep an eye out for the signs of failing piston rings... I do love the power mode in it though I wonder why you didn't touch on any of the extras on it like the solar panel on mine
Ответитьas a baby i used to watch chris angel
now i watch car angel
Unfortunately Toyota saw this review and went out and mega bucks on design of looks while dining minimal efficiency increase. So they fix ugly and then lose against EVs. Bye
ОтветитьWho had the robot fetish at Toyota, and why did any exec approve it?
ОтветитьExcellent review, especially the accident issue and extreme ugliness. Honesty is hard to come by in car reviews.
ОтветитьI like every prius
ОтветитьI have the Gen 3-C, a 2013, and I love it. I took it across country and use it locally and on road trips. It has more pep than my lady's 2014 sedan that just seems to feel sluggish. You nailed it on the license plate bulbs burning out--happened on her car recently.
ОтветитьLMAO "wet dream", "acid trip", "face of a robot", "grandma's microwave"... This was educational and entertaining! And yes I agree the 4th gen is pretty fugly...
ОтветитьThanks Greg. I bought a Gen 2 and viewing your review. I am very happy with it.
ОтветитьPrius drivers have a skill issue.
Ответитьgreat video i totally agree with how bad the gen 4 prius is. so glad the 5th at least looks better. and has tons of power
ОтветитьI will be getting the 2023 Prius AWD and so much better then the late versions! It seems like they listened regarding the controls!
ОтветитьExcellent reviews? Thank you.
Ответить4th gen looks futuristic
