thank you so much. had no idea i could do this in 20 seconds by PRESSING FORWARD while pressing dodge. had NO IDEA the window for "counter" was so large, hands are shaking, full of adrenaline that has no where to go lmao. thanks so much dude <3

It's easy to practice and do the move on that dead guy but for some reason it's very difficult to land it on perfect time with this guy.

Well, i did die once twice than did exactly the same in training. And beat him right away. Even if you dont do it perfectly you at least dodge. It was way easier.

This game doesnt have online platform?

Just so you know it only takes three Shuriken’s to kill an archer so you can easily stab the guy at the bridge lock onto the archer through Shirkin’s run to the tree and jump up to the tower until it resets and I think that’s a much faster and more efficient way

I've been stuck at this boss for hours, I almost gave up on the game. I think the shortcut was something I had missed, I had even missed the are! Thanks for bringing those to my attention, very detailed video, loved it. I beat the boss in one attempt after this.

Thanks, haven't tried this yet looks really helpful. I've died at least 15 times and one thing frustrated me was going through entire area every time I died at Enshin. Now I know about the shortcut! Secondly, I had no idea to use forward and circle, I was just using circle with little success. Did they have mention that anywhere?! Can't wait to beat this fool.

Just taking on this game and is so awesome, but I SUCK at that thrust parry, I actually killed him by luck, stabbed me twice, died and revived, jumped to the tree, managed to soak him on oil, burned him, and while he was burnt I just went in slashing, pushed him to a corner and never stopped attacking until dead blow came up and done... your technic is awesome... mine was a mixture of luck and cowardice hahahahaha

I know this comment is a few years later then most but I just defeated the shinobi hunter with help from your guide so thank you. I was also literally down to my last slither of hp but I managed to get him first!!!

If you can't time the counter right, you can also sidestep the attack when the red mark appears and deal a good bit of back damage while also granting a good bit of posture. I'm not sure if it's the same as a real counter but it fills up pretty quickly.

My only problem in playing this game is my pc, im playing at very low resolution and that too creates stutters and it fk me up everytime.

i changed the deflect button to a trigger below attack, and changed the dash/evade to the left thumb stick (press in). made the game slightly better to play but controls are still insane lol
