ОтветитьGood teaching, am a retired trained Nurse, am refreshed
ОтветитьThanks so much for the video!!
ОтветитьThanks dear siz
ОтветитьThank you for posting this, as I have my BLS recertification in the morning. I've never had to do CPR in the hospital setting and if you don't lose it, you lose it. So glad we have to recertify or we wouldn't have no idea what to do...but I'm dreading it though 🙄
ОтветитьThanks for the refresher.
ОтветитьGood advice
Ответитьyou are a professional!! Great information!!
Ответитьyou are excellent
ОтветитьThank you very much for this video
ОтветитьPlease tie your hair back ,it's should not be on the face of the victim. Am I correct, or not
ОтветитьAlright to clear something up I’m gonna explain how CPR works, yes I agree from this angle it does look a harsh and to hard and all. Anyways, Do NOT press on the throat or the very end of the breast bone. Place the heel of your hand in the center of there chest pretending they have a perfect nipple line, the chest should be exposed. I understand you may feel uncomfortable doing so to a woman but remember your saving someone’s life and your protected by the Good Samaritan law, if you still feel uncomfortable and have already called 911 and everything else you need to do checked pulse your sure cpr is necessary than start on top of clothing, the cloth moving is to prep for AED use when professional help arrives and to see best where to do the compressions mostly for AED preparation. Press heel of hand in the center of the chest get close align shoulders with your hands and lock your elbows and push 2 inches, you’ll feel a resistance which is the rib and sternum (manikin training most have a click sound to say your going deep enough). 2 inches for average person and for someone larger 1/3 of the way from a side view, do 30 compressions than if if you have a mask to use the angle of the mask goes over the victims nose, to open the airway apply slight pressure to the mask holding the nose at the bridge of it and than tilt the head back and give two breaths only about a second long, if you do to long or you could hyper inflate the chest and to big could inflate there stomach and cause vomit. I could tell more but we are talking about CPR not AED or anything else just the compressions aspect. SOURCE: MSHA Mine Safety and Health Association. This is renewed once a year or more if necessary (is done yearly no matter what)
ОтветитьThis is very good and practical, I have learned a lot from your lesson about CPR &AED.
ОтветитьThank you! ❤
ОтветитьThank you for the great teaching.
ОтветитьThank you for your work ! Bless you ❤
ОтветитьThank you Eunice. I’m retired law-enforcement had plenty of CPR courses but like anything he need to keep practicing. this refresher was very helpful especially since I’m a new grandfather and really needed the latest on infant care in the event of an emergency. Appreciate it!
ОтветитьGreat delivery. Quick check about airway - here in the UK we always check airway for any obstructions, such as liquids or objects. Also, we open the airway to ensure the tongue is not causing an obstruction and then we check for breathing.
ОтветитьGot my CPR cert today kinda nervous that I’ll forget something and fail
ОтветитьAlso, my Momma has a Port on her high right so in case of an emergency can I place AED the opposite, high left low right? Thank you Sis🥳
ОтветитьThanks so much! I’m a retired RN on my way to Mackinac Island MI for a wedding. My 91 Aunt will be there. She was just discharged from the hospital yesterday, after being intubated and on a vent last week. She also had V-tac and lost consciousness. This is her last granddaughter getting married and she wants to be there! So the whole family are teaming up to make it as safe as possible. My CPR certification is overdue and your class was perfect as a refresher on the 4 hr drive up north. I have a pocket mask also -I’m ready! Thanks again!
ОтветитьGreat Job!

ОтветитьFeeling for a pulse can be difficult and time consuming...
ОтветитьIf you are out and about, and a loved one falls into cardiac arrest, and you don't have an AED but you just so happen to have a taser on hand, will that suffice?
ОтветитьMost excellent demonstration on how to perform the life saving techniques of CPR!!! Thank you.
