Theres actually a secret boss in mystic cave zone if you fall down a certain hole u can end up in the hidden palace where u will face eggman with a tuba? Whenever he blows into the tuba it causes mini bombs to fall then water will rise causing the mini bombs to rise aswell after that they go there ways and self destruct the only way to damage eggman is when he summons a big bomb once u get that to explode under eggman it will create a geyser which will cause eggman to fall to the ground therefore you know what to do

What are you playing this on because it feels all wrong. The way Robotnik flashes what you hit him and being able to hit him right on the spiked arm without dying...it isn't right.

This game was an immense part of my childhood. My great grandfather bought it for me when I lived with him for a while. I could make it to the end with all of the chaos emeralds, 40+ lives. I never could time the hits on Mecha Robotnik while he was walking though
