Of course the laws are complicated, it’s Canada for gods sake, I’m surprise they don’t charge for breathing. Little bitch country!!🙄🙄
ОтветитьSmall businesses growing, which these guys basically are, do sometimes have such things happen. I've watched some of their work before this and think they are good presenters. Doing new and larger things with videos can be like a small business say a manufacturer setting up a new assembly hut to find out that its against say the zoning laws. I do find it odd to think they wouldn't know about park regulations being a thing. Especially in something so widely known as beautiful Banff.
ОтветитьRunkle: based on the comments perhaps you can help explain what is "Crown Land".
To my understanding it is "unassigned" land. Thus a park isn't the same thing thus has its own rules. To those who live in cities or suburb areas it is unlikely to have any "unassigned" "crown land" anywhere near them so they might not know what it is.
The only thing I've gathered from this is that Canada is overrun with tyrants. These "laws" that Greg and Zach broke have nothing to do with morality and everything to do with authoritarian control. Government is the problem, not campers.
National parks banning basically everything that the land has been preserved for is ridiculous. The purpose of creating national parks was to protect them from deforestation from logging companies, not to prevent people from enjoying the outdoors by camping, fishing and hunting. Canadians need to take their land back from their tyrannical government... and the US citizens need to as well.
By the way, being a smartass by saying, "you know bears climb trees, right... survival experts?" shows that you're clearly not a wilderness/wildlife expert. They built platforms in the trees to avoid GRIZZLY bears specifically, because grizzlies DON'T climb trees. Also, the "survival challenge" was to live off of the land by hunting and fishing since they didn't bring any food with them. Just because they had some camping equipment and a "safety net" of a vehicle, doesn't give you the right to be an ass. What they do is still a hell of a lot closer to "survival" than the average middle class jerk with an RV that's basically just a house on wheels.
I cant believe theres a channel you can use freedom of speech against Greg and fowler with out fowlers ignorant editors blocking your opinions about these law breakers.
Ответить"The house isn't attacking you"
I don't know, Runkle. I've seen some nasty neighborhoods with some mean looking houses... 😮
Ok I'm sorry but just the CONCEPT of getting arrested for fishing with a worm is baffling to me. I defy any agency in Canada to go to the exact spot those guys were at, start digging with a shovel, and not find worms. They're every goddamn where. What are they gonna do next, ban giving horses apples?
ОтветитьThese two guys are hard core show boating dill holes so they should have been detained until court as they, as survivalists, are a definitive flight risk.
ОтветитьThis targeryan guy annoying 😂
ОтветитьNew Canadian Park Challenge! How many crimes that no rational person would would expect to be a crime can you commit in a fixed period of time? Season 2 will be in California.
ОтветитьIt's obviously not a free country
ОтветитьWhat a nonsense, they did not pose a risk to anyone, Ovens has been making fires in the woods safely for decades, common sense is uncommon.
ОтветитьBe pleased do not show 3years or more for something soon as It they need for help sold brought 2019 show 2023 blo we me off worms what are you sports
ОтветитьThey paid the fines in advanced! This guy…
ОтветитьMan i watched this video a while ago and loved it. Went to watch it again and seen they were getting charged for it. What a shame.
ОтветитьAbsolutely ridiculous to worry about a worm when fishing.
ОтветитьF the crown. This is so ridiculous. He’s one of the most awesome dudes. Did nothing ACTUALLY wrong.
ОтветитьI didn’t know Canadians were so hilarious , all these comments are great!
ОтветитьI love fowler and ovens. Any updates on this??
Ответитьhorseshit.. take back you rights, and freedoms. Stop making excuses
ОтветитьGeezus Christ!! Damn Tattle Tales!! Not unless the government can make a dollar off of someone showing people HOW TO SURVIVE!! I think they don't want people to know how to survive because it's coming to live like this in the near future because of the GOVERNMENT
Ответитьthe government doesn't care how much effort you put in to trying to navigate their complex laws. Especially parks and rec, I imagine will throw the book at anyone they can get their hands on.
Ответитьyou got a big cancer on ya face bro.. looks like a lymphoma
ОтветитьFuckin Canada
ОтветитьThis Older video has me thinking.
Would you do a video about what the Department of Natural Resources can demand of a hunter if they approach in the woods??
This IMHO would be well received content.
My mama told me not to play with fire coz fire will burn you.😢
ОтветитьI am not going to give my opinion on Canadian fishing and hunting laws.
I observe them because they are the law, and I am an adult without a plausible excuse.
These two will be made an example of, as they should be. Having spent my life camping in the back country, my occasional stays at provincial/federal parks has shown me the damage that humans do just by being human.
These guys had millions of acres of Crown land to go have their adventure, yet they chose a park that is maintained by Canadian tax dollars and draws visitors from all over the world, visitors who pay a lot to enjoy a pristine park. Nobody wants to have a nature experience that includes running into a couple of unkempt guys in their tree house.
One guy is Canadian. He knows damned well how insane Canadian law is regarding parks and wildlife. He also knows he had millions of acres of non-park bush to choose from for his "30 day survival challenge". He chose poorly.
This act was selfish. Why would THEY be permitted to do this stuff in a Canadian park, when nobody else is?
Such a blatant act of entitlement!
Perhaps their series should have been called "30 Days of What NOT to do in a Canadian Park".
Now, let's see how they survive the Canadian justice system. THAT may prove to be an interesting follow-up series.
I would love to see our Justice system make itself useful and put some effort toward holding certain members of parliament accountable for THEIR stupidity. Wouldn't THAT be amazing?
Did this case ever play out?
ОтветитьThis is real? A warrant? Wtf
ОтветитьSounds like a money grab from the park
ОтветитьWhy is the video still allowed to be up on YT if laws were broken?
ОтветитьWhat that Fowler guy did in Texas seemed so much worse. They killed everything that moved in overabundance.
Ответитьi think they were actually showing you what you can do to survive if you were driving and got stranded, how to make it out alive .
ОтветитьI can almost see his point but if you believe it is that easy I would love to see a video of you out in the wilderness for 30 days!
Ответитьi wonder if this guy has ever been in the woods
ОтветитьI think you need to be their editor hahaha
ОтветитьFuck the rules
ОтветитьBoth are respectful Stuarts of the planet have earned their place in the Wilderness ✌️❤️
ОтветитьOnly decent place workouts you in a long time from the RCMP and it's a waste of goddamn time I need to go get real criminals
ОтветитьWow from Oregon! It's probably just as bad here but I wouldn't know. Don't care.
Ответить6 counts and $110.000 fine. Is that accurate? If so, it seems a little steep.
ОтветитьJust pay money to goverment then its ok.
ОтветитьThe grilled trout looks delicious 🤤
ОтветитьGovernments always seem to develop a severely insidious god-complex. They didn’t create wilderness… but they sure af act like they did, lol.
ОтветитьOh man I watched the whole series of the Survival Challenge, was a good watch. Now I just look at it as them being naughty kids in the bush😂
ОтветитьGreg is such a great guy, suck it came to this.
ОтветитьGrizzly bears don't climb trees as well as black bears do. You can climb to get away from a grizzly.
ОтветитьNot allowed to use worms...What a stupid law...
Ответить
