They also need to make it so when you have a 10 kg fish it shouldn't snap your line also wet feet in a boat needs to stop

Could you cut up the bigger fish and use that as bait?

Do you think this boat users fuel a bit to fast?
I've had a dinghy with a outboard and they are very easy on fuel

@mrfeudal have you done a fishing tutorial video yet? Like for scum. Explaining the hooks and line purposes. Where to find certain fish if that’s a thing.

The fishing's OK in SCUM. But for my fishing fix, as I'm no longer able to fish due to ill health, I play Dovetail Games EURO FISHING.
As for fly fishing, I've not done that for 30 odd years now. Best I caught was a 7lb Blue Bottle 8-))...

I don't know if you know this but if you aim at the middle seats of the boat you can row the boat instead of using the engine. Keep up the good work, love your vids.

Fresh water fish doesn't taste good? Must never had Crappie before. Hands down the best tasting fish I've ever had.

That's what freshwater fish are for. I always keep whatever fish I catch as long as they're edible. Mostly rainbow trout or large mouth bass. But of course the fisheries around here keep lakes and ponds stocked with fish so keeping them is a form of population control.

To catch tuna or catfish, you need to use sardines or boilies. I play on a PVE server with lots of avid Scum fishermen. :)

Caught Crabs once , That got remedied with some ointment at ward 12 at local hospital.

Dude this isn't fishing simulator. Highly doubt they will put most of that if any of it in the game.

I wonder if eventually you’ll be able to fish for and catch the great white shark.

@Mr Feudal, a few things about the fishing. One, you can look in the large fallen trees for crickets and turn them into bait. The other is, when you are trying to get your line out of the water (such as you are done fishing or moving your line) you can hit the "V" key and it will put your pole back on you shoulder. That way it keeps you from having to reel the whole line back in or in the case of what you did, putting it back on you back holster. Hope this helps.

If you can throw a fish at someone, it would be great distraction in multiplayer. Take a full bag of sardines, and just hit other players with them. I guess there would be notable wtf moments.

Lobster pots and other fishing traps would be good or even crayfish traps I’d like to see in the game

I don't play the game, but yes the scrolling wheel for pulling the reel is a good idea instead of left click.

Very nice video. Had a question for you. What’s your go to fishing lunch? I used to go fishing with my friends and sometimes my grandfather, and it was always interesting to see what everyone brought for lunch. Mine was always and ice cold Pepsi and a bologna sandwich. I miss fishing.
