So did I understand this correctly: for given hardware:
use "Switch" tab to create VLANs if available
otherwise use "Bridge" tab
and only if that does not work use "Interface" tab?

so Lorenzo, on your last question: is there hardware available that can use multiple hw filtering /offload bridges?

This was really helpful. As someone who has used Mikrotik for a while this has always confused me.

Also that presentation remote is awesome! So much better than those that use a laser pointer that you can never see in the video.

Instead of explaining 20+ times "software vlans are slow and eating CPU" it would have been a lot more useful to explain different scenarios of VLAN-mode in switch mode. Or the Actions possible.
