"Officially you will no longer have any friends here."
ОтветитьA golden retriever has to make it onto everyones office wall
ОтветитьI’d take the money and run. Big Head wasn’t really aware that hooli was sinking but luckily failed up and got out.
ОтветитьWould of been nice if they wrote he hung out with his friends after work.
ОтветитьLove the callback to "In perpetuity, throughout the universe" when Gavin tried to get Jian Yang to sign over his operation!
ОтветитьI had a friend like him, he barely graduated engineering, failed all the recruitment drives our university had setup. Took a job in a small startup company because he could speak English and was confident, became a manger within few months, VP in few years and then the company got acquired by Honeywell and he made millions.
ОтветитьI wish I could fail upward as hard as Big Head.
ОтветитьLol
ОтветитьI liked this version of BigHead before they dumbed him out and made the character completely unbelievable
ОтветитьThis guy is the most underrated character on the show. Hilarious
ОтветитьBighead is The most successful person in the Valley 😂
ОтветитьBighead didn't know his severance changed when he got promoted to a higher level. The 3 year contract had a severance of 2 million, but his current promoted job as it's supposed to be more impactful, had an actual severance of 20 million (because they wouldn't generally fire these kind of people, they are those who quit on their own most of the time to move somewhere else or just to not lose face)
ОтветитьThey do this at Microsoft. This is why Windows and Azure is turning into shit.
ОтветитьHR Guy should be woman
ОтветитьHappens all the time with likable people in big companies who aren’t great at their jobs but never rock the boat. They keep failing upwards and going with the flow 😂
Ответитьwtf?
ОтветитьThis HR person is doing way too much work. Most HR people do much, much less work than this Mr. Irving.
Ответитьdream job.... it too sad why im isnt stoopid like bighead
Ответить"Officially you will no longer have any friends here" 😅
ОтветитьBig Head is awesome!
ОтветитьGimme f*king $20 million dollars and I would happily eat that vegan meal for that, for a day.
ОтветитьWow so I guess thats why there is a rush among indians for h1b visas as I am pretty sure that all the mbas /management guys in indian IT ensure that no one can make more then tgem forget about the mills.
ОтветитьRetrospectively this is even funnier because at Hooli they indeed DID NOT have a contract. The Pied Piper lawsuit showed that they were all invalid.
Ответитьdamn i wish someone thows money at me. i would have create something
Ответить"HR works"
lol
I hate this guy. He is nice and all but then he lucks in to 20 million dollars. Okay, very cool, way to go. Enjoy the rest of your life. You won. But then that dumbass loses all his money in no time. that makes me so mad!!!! A fool and his money are soon parted is really true.
ОтветитьSounds like most Big Tech nowadays -- shit like EDI - total bullshit for big pay.
Ответитьthese 2 deserve a spin-off show
ОтветитьBig head is the epitome of failing upward
Ответитьwhere do i find a company like that
ОтветитьThe HR dude being named Gary Irving is an excellent detail. I feel like that’s a extremely HR name.
Ответить20 million... blink.
ОтветитьThe accuracy of the HR guy being promoted over the timeline is 💯
ОтветитьThis shit does happen in life. Seen people fail upward often.
ОтветитьGetting paid $20 million to not do anything.
Becoming a professor at Stanford.
Then becoming the President of Stanford.
He's the most successful person on the show.
The HR guy gives one of my favorite acting performances on the show.
ОтветитьBelieve it or not, for big corporations it's sometimes easier to keep paying someone for nothing or bull$hit work, than to fire him.
ОтветитьI would love to be in BigHead's position.
ОтветитьPerfect level of ahm... involvement. His face when his says that is just brilliant xD
ОтветитьThe writers really played fast and loose with BigHead's intelligence over the years.
ОтветитьMust've been a martyred saint in his past life
ОтветитьIt's nice how he considered declining 2 million dollars because of his friends there
Ответить
