Michele is a male name in Italy. So the picture of the girl on that tomb does not match tha name in it, weirdly enough. You can see part of a name on the flowers in the background, most likely Giuseppina.
ОтветитьGreat video! Very cool take of the glass coffin.
ОтветитьSome of those mosoleums are better than flats ive lived in. The plane sounded like a stuka dive bomber
ОтветитьThese videos have been fascinating, thank you! They're the first views I've seen of these amazing cemeteries.
ОтветитьAt 3.58 we see the mausoleum of Alberto Napolitano, the founder of a famous and prestigious company which manufactured pianofortes. It is still operated by his descendants.
ОтветитьWow, they really do it up over there .
ОтветитьWhat am I missing? I haven't seen any glass coffins.
Ответить1917/18 Spanish flew
ОтветитьWhy is this cemetery such a dog's breakfast? So poorly planned , designed and maintained.
ОтветитьRemind me to no choose a glass coffin.
Ответитьwhether glass coffins become the norm, remains to be seen!
ОтветитьYou must wear a mask please and protective clothing
AND THROW it away afterwards.Pray the Blood of Jesus over you.
That place is extremely unhealthy. The government myst do something as the viruses can get into the air. What happens with global warming h.
ОтветитьVery u healthy mould.
ОтветитьHow many bodies are there
ОтветитьIt's disgraceful the way the cemetery is not maintained, no respect.
Ответить"I wish to be buried in a glass coffin above ground"
"Why??"
"So I can freak the world out when they see me!!"
"But no one will see you."
"Just wait..."
The scariest thing is no one is around
ОтветитьThis is sad how these restful places for these people are so under kept! Clean!
ОтветитьWhen I hit the like button it was up to 666!
ОтветитьWhy do we love deads?
ОтветитьImagine this Place in the night ........
ОтветитьWhat a beautiful city of the dead.
ОтветитьYou place vick under your nose
ОтветитьWhy do you do this?
ОтветитьI'd much rather be buried under a tree, so that you can be part of the breezes and the fresh changing earth and growth.
ОтветитьGuess what helps block both odours and allergens... wearing a damn mask.
ОтветитьUsually, if you smell decomp, means the coffin wasn't sealed properly, if there's water damage, it will rot the wood. It's sad. I'm sure our ancestors would be horrified to know their bodies are in such condition.
My 2nd great grandfather was rumored to have whiskey in his coffin (inside of his mausoleum). It was said back then (1888) you could preserve the deceased. When prohibition was active, some teenage boys had heard stories of this. They decided to brake into his mausoleum and find out if the stories were true. IT WAS!! Of course they got caught, so the cemetery bricked up the opening. No one can get in now. I've been trying to find out if his wife is in there with him. No luck. No known records.
One more fact to know, I've always put a red rose with three gardenias in the coffin. Red rose for the deceased, gardenias for three sisters. When my son was killed, I placed 3 red roses.
When I had him exhumed for autopsy 18 months later, I was asked to identify him before they could start. I asked the medical examiner why the one side of his face was black. He said it was caused by the flowers I put with him. The moisture from the flowers causes mold to grow. So I no longer put in real flowers, I replaced them with silk ones!
Omy can they be burri.ed in ground on the top of each other?
ОтветитьRip allthe pepole
ОтветитьThese Italian cemeteries actually look like neighborhoods.
ОтветитьCreating something new atop existing foundations can be truly inspiring. It speaks to the human ability to build and innovate, layer upon layer. This constant evolution is visible everywhere, from physical structures to abstract concepts. Each new addition tells a story of progress and adaptation. It's fascinating to witness this continuous process of development.
ОтветитьBe safe not healthy to breathe in all decaying bodies and mold. At least wear a high quality mask.
ОтветитьThanks for the interesting tour. Gosh, the majority of those mausoleums are so huge & ornate, it blows my mind. It’s peaceful, and like a maize though, which is creepy. I’m feeling you as you sniffe your way around the place. Good on you for showing us places like this most of us wont see in our lifetime. Cheers from Australia!❤
ОтветитьThe mask or try to find embalmers wa x. Put it under nose or try mint balm
Ответить"Sconyamilio"
ОтветитьThats s big cementry .
ОтветитьThere seems to be a large area of renovations. Maybe the smell is from decedents being moved around. Maybe wear a mask if the smell is so bad.
ОтветитьYou need to bring some Vic’s for the smell
ОтветитьThat smell attaches to your hair and clothes because it's soft .
ОтветитьI would not go into that area at all!
ОтветитьMore than likely that glass casket was a priest or monk in their family. Having a man of the cloth was an honor and they were venerated. Family would pray to them to intercede and pray for their soul.
ОтветитьI can’t imagine the smell of decomposition from such old graves.. wow they must be fairly new. 😊
ОтветитьThe amount of money that families spent on crypts and mausoleums is astonishing. The sculptures and masonry are absolutely beautiful.
ОтветитьAre those large multi level mausoleums with basement as well public or are they privately owned? Do people just buy a vault in them? How are they organized? I understand families that purchase a small building for 12 bodies or something but all those large scale ones can't be just for one family. How is this done in italy?
ОтветитьI just came here to say "bless you" 😊
ОтветитьThese cemeteries are fascinating.
