So wait..... how does the dog love us?
ОтветитьI'm pretty sure I have to put my 13.5 year old dog down today. I have no words....
ОтветитьHas anyone done a Cortical homunculus statue?
ОтветитьSorry after wasting my 18 minutes by watching this, you still didn’t explain the main question, how the dogs love us?
ОтветитьPretty wild stuff.
If you really think about it from your dog's perspective (if you adopted it in pup stage), YOU, your home and your family, become your dog's ENTIRE WORLD.
You've got other things going on in your life. But your dog doesn't. When your out there living, working and adventuring, your dog is parked at home waiting, and anticipating the moment you open the door & come home.
When I'm not around, my dog likes to sleep on my clothes. Blankets, towels. Whatever is around, because all of those things smell like me, and she takes great comfort in that.
I think it's so special.
Dog is my copilot
ОтветитьDogs imo are the greatest and most special creature god put life into. They love unconditionally with zero judgment. If only humans were more like dogs just think how much better life would be
ОтветитьShould do it with poodles then cu they’re used to sitting still on chin rest for long periods getting groomed. Or any other high grooming dogs
ОтветитьDogs dont love us. They make us liove them.
ОтветитьThe title is misleading
ОтветитьAccording to ethologist de Waal the part of the brain termed the parental pathway is the same which we access when we are interacting with children or animals.
ОтветитьWhat a waste of time. I don't know how they can actually bill this as "why dogs love us" I am glad this guy loves dogs and hope he is not just using them as a means to a livelihood. I know know more than when I began this video
ОтветитьDogs are not complicated folks. You wanna know what they are thinking? Feed me. That's all they are thinking, at any given moment. Period. They could have led those dogs to their death with food in this experiment and the dogs would have happily put their necks in a guillotine to get a funky hot dog. Stop expecting your dog to be your best friend and confidant and try human companionship, it is far more rewarding.
ОтветитьI have loved the dogs in my life more than I’ve ever loved anything other than my two children. Each one has made me able to live.
ОтветитьThis is where you are wrong, you can not replace anyone!
ОтветитьThey don't love Us nor do they understand us . Dogs ruin relationships , And the people that actually believe they love Us are mentally deranged . And need help
ОтветитьI miss my Chow Cloud so much it hurts. He understood about 15 words. I talked to him all the time. I sang to him the same song since he was a pup and he knew it was his song. I miss his companionship. When I was sad he would come to me and I would bury my face into his large mane. He never went to sleep until I did. We had a bond that was special and he knew this. He died of liver and spleen cancer and I laid behind him holding him and singing his song through my tears. I have since adopted two Chow mix puppies from Texas. I won't ever love them like I loved Cloud. I love them but I have no bond with them. I'm trying.
ОтветитьOne small sentence accurately defines a dog....and amazingly it applies to all sizes and all the varying breeds.
Unconditional love and loyalty..
So cheap to antagonize cats. Well, that's what dog people do...
ОтветитьI've cared for many dogs all shapes and sizes but I never consider that I own them. I work with them and build trust and bond with them. It's always been a working relationship because even dogs deserve privacy at times and need reliability and trust to function at their peak. I respect a dog but love is alien to me. I find animal abuse abhorrent and distressing because I know how the dog feels. People do damage and therefore cannot trust them. Knowing your dog is a great privilege and I'm glad they trusted me.
ОтветитьI exit with more questions than answers.
ОтветитьZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzz,
I understand my dog and he knows what I'm saying. Dogs can master the English language and know what we are asking or talking about.
Gotta frickin love dogs man
ОтветитьI wanted to hear you but I love all animals cats and dogs , didn't like your comments about cats ,
ОтветитьI lost my baby girl at nearly age 16. She was a Rottweiler and husky mix. This cat lover cried for days after she died. I nursed her in the last days of her life when she couldn't get up anymore, gave her water. She didn't want to eat anymore. It broke my heart to see her go and would give anything to see her again, my baby girl Kita.
ОтветитьI am by no means a professional trainer, but my dog and I have a special connection. I swear he understands me without words. He just needs some kind of signal, especially hands, to know what I mean. He knows when I need a cuddle and when I’m joyful. He’s my partner in crime and my best friend. I love him so goddamn much.
ОтветитьNever buy a dog. Always rescue one.
ОтветитьNever trust a cat person. It's dogs all the way for me.
ОтветитьI like this but he didn't need to dismiss cat people. Silly prejudice.
Poor start but the rest is good.
The love between you and a pet is so personal and wonderful. I have lost many over the years, there is nothing harder than having to let go of something that means so much to you. I thank God for each one I have had and loved and was loved in return. 💔
ОтветитьThere is no greater thing or what they can do when it comes to a dog, in the world, than when they are a boy’s salvation in a dysfunctional family. Ask me how I know. 💕
ОтветитьMy dogs saved my life and I saved theirs. I’ve always seen the nature of the connection is the most important with any training. Foster the trust and anything is possible.
ОтветитьDoctor Doglittle, he doesn't talk to dogs he scans them
ОтветитьHey girl, i love you like a dog loves you
ОтветитьHe said "hotdog"🌭 so many times that now I want a hotdog 🌭😂... I'm also Pavlovian conditioned 🤣
ОтветитьThis does not do a great job of explaining why dogs love us. It explains the research process. Disappointed.
ОтветитьOh gosh. So you scanned the brain of a dawg that was scared from the noise strange smells and the programming from training while having higher heart rate from sodium laden treats?
ОтветитьI have an Angel 😇🌹🐕🦺🐇🦆🕊️😻🐣🤗😜!!!
ОтветитьI love, trust and would die for my two doggos. They are my entire life.
Ответитьlmaooo he emBARKED on this journey fs
Ответитьcutest ted talk
ОтветитьI don’t like the way he talks about dogs
ОтветитьI think my dog thinks about me all the time because I think about her all the time… she is always by my side and seems like I am her main occupation and she knows when I’m busy and she takes brakes then to do her own thing!
ОтветитьWhy is this guy feeding hot dogs to dogs ??? It's TOXIC to the digestive system of a dog??.. what the hek!!!!
ОтветитьNext time prepare better. I don't think ya did that. We get dogs aren't all the same, will learn commands, but after 15 minutes still no viable result info. You need some training to explaining experiments without making the audience nuts waiting to hear what will now be only a few minutes of info. But again you repeat yourself and you love it but can't really relay well. Sit! Stop! Good boy! Zzzz
ОтветитьYou spent all that time dragging out all the pre testing info to us. We get it already, you rained them to recognize a hand single for a reward, the dog learned faster than your capable of saying in words. Stop talking like we are basic idiots, what was the result after 15 minutes of repeating yourself zzzzzz
Ответить7 years later ..... Is it still going on? I got three dogs that train easy.
ОтветитьMy dog Doobie was so smart. My other dog Lola was separated from Doobie. We came home from the store and found the gate open with the two of them running around and playing. I knew the gate was closed. I checked the lock and Doobie pushed it off with his nose and slid the lever to open the gate. I was speechless. He would put his head on your knee to let you know that he wanted to go outside to use the bathroom. I love you and miss you so much Doobie.
ОтветитьDidn’t answer the question
