ОтветитьWhat's bad for Mr Musk is the price of his cheapest Model 3 is $53,000 if you want one with good range. The Audi Q4 Etron is under $50,000. And it looks better and is no doubt going to have MUCH better quality interior. I don't understand why nobody is buying the Audi. And the range on the Q4 is about 240-250 miles, not too shabby.

ОтветитьPro-Clip USA are garbage. They claim they don’t break easy, mine snapped in 6 months. Also rattles like crazy and nothing you can do to stop it. It also damages your car by spreading the trim seams apart permanently. Horrible phone mounts and regret spending $100 on a piece of crap the company won’t even stand behind the so-called warranty.
ОтветитьDrove the Q4, MB EBQ, VW ID4 & LexusRZ all electric vehicles. The Lexus was my fav but couldn't get past the looks (those horns projecting out the back are weird). Bought the Q4 (from Carlsbad) - thanks for the review Doug. I guess you'll be seeing a couple more of our vehicles going on C&Bs.

ОтветитьAudi's EV's look great, but have fallen short of what makes having an Ev great. I have had the 3 and currently the Y, then a E-tron sportback SUV loaner for a week and I could not wait to get out of it and drive my Y. It was slow, felt like a boat in the corners, no frunk, severely lacking convenience Tech, and I just didn't understand why Audi went so hard in creating an electric vehicle that has none of the perks of being Electric. Its downfall is the fact that it's an electric car that's trying very hard to be a normal car from the past... oh and it is 80k.
ОтветитьTest drove a 2023 model today. Was a really smooth ride. Quiet interior while driving, great visibility, and it controlled well. Reserved a 2024 model.

ОтветитьJust traded my Q7 for a Q4. I didn’t go for the extra range Tesla because I don’t want to be seen in a fat jelly bean…the Audi looks normal.

ОтветитьIt’s ugly, specifically the interior. All these EV SUVs look like the older Toyota Venza model. They need to start being more creative with their designs.

Ответить38 minutes from 5% to 80% is slow. The Kia and Hyundai takes 20 minutes and around same time does the other competition. That this thing turn off the engine when you get out is stupid af. Useless in cold weather, unless it still will run the heaters

ОтветитьI normally find that sponsor placement to be amusing filler, but ProClip actual DOES work. Nobody wants to drill holes in their dash or glue something to their windshield or interior, especially if you have a nicer non-beater car. DO call them, though, if you have a protector case, since most mounts are way too small for something decent like an OtterBox Defender. You do want the charging model if you have an iPhone as well, since then it's a simple matter of sliding it in place and driving off.

ОтветитьI don’t see how this is really competitive as an EV with the Model Y. The max charge speed for DCFC is nearly half (250 kWh vs. 150 kWh). Storage space is considerably down from the Model Y as well (no under floor storage in the rear, no frunk). Range is considerably less, too (330 vs. 236 miles). And it is slow in comparison (4.8 vs. 5.8 0-60). Sure, you can get one cheaper than a Y, but the allure as an EV isn’t really competitive.

ОтветитьI don't know if it's standard in US, but in Europe the Q4 comes standard with a grey "grill", which looks hideous... You need to opt for the "black packet" or whatever to get a black grill. And it is noticeable, the grey one looks really ugly and cheap, not matter what colour the car is otherwise.

ОтветитьI rented an electric Hyundai Kona recently. Over the course of 1 day, I got out 3 times and forgot to turn the car off. I very much like the touch less on/off feature this has.

ОтветитьIf this is based on the ID4, does this have all of the numerous software bugs, issues, and no clear plans for fixing them from the manufacturer?
There are numerous reports from ID4 owners of an absolutely awful ownership experience and that scares me here as well.
