It takes about like... 2 or 3 Years to be a pro at Blender, Its been 3 months since I been using it.
I already learned how to do these that and those but for me I'm still a rookie
K3d is nice blender ui is shit hasnt got much better
ОтветитьI also feel like some people straight up copy every single action in a tutorial without actually learning anything. They even refuse to modify some of the optional things in a tutorial, like colors and such..
Honestly though, it usually depends on how the creator is handing out the information. I've seen some explain things with the "go there, click that, increase that" method with no regard to actual teaching whatsoever.
Blender doesn't model like sketchup. Ergo it sucks. Yes that's it, not joking at all.
ОтветитьHi what are your pc specs?
ОтветитьI heard it's heading towards being completely node based which is a great shame for those who love sculpting, modelling and things like grease pencil.
ОтветитьIts harder to use than learn it takes a gazillion steps backwords in usability
Ответитьim barely trying to learn home design and i'm about to smash my computer
ОтветитьStop pretending you are funny. You are not
ОтветитьIf you can find a blender job more easily why not?
Ответитьim far from a beginner ive been using blender/ known about blender for 10 years, i switched to maya 5 years ago and became far more advanced in that software than i ever was in blender. switching from maya to blender is harder than when i initally learned blender. the last version of blender i used was 2.6 back in like 2014. i hate the revamp.
like the hotkeys felt like a shit AI choose it. space bar + g instead of the universal w? and when you switch to industry standard hotkeys EVERYTHING IS REMAPPED SO LEARNING IS IMPOSSIBLE.
ill get there eventually i did it before but fuck me it feels like garbage controls.
Very good rost of Maya 😂😂😂
ОтветитьI have a combination of "Special Kid" and Perfectionism issue.
If I'm not a master in a few minutes of starting I want to quit.
I takes me a while to learn things...
I tried Blender years and years ago. Found it confusing/unintuitive/too hard whatever you want to call it. May try again
ОтветитьHorrible user interface, very awkward hot keys and keyboard shortcuts, the program really needs to implement a command line and a command history so we can see where the heck everything is without having to jump through five million menus and crazy inconsistencies of keyboard shortcuts.
ОтветитьThe reason blender sucks is because it is anti-intuitive.. simple things such as painting an object are made more difficult than they should be
Ответитьmy blender experience
-open blender
-find rigid 2 hour tutorial on how to do 1 thing
--do the 1 thing after 3-4 hours
-feel empty with no sense of accomplishment
-decide to use what I have learned to make my own stuff
-get stuck somewhere
-search my problem into google
-10,000,000 unrelated results / 0% what I'm looking for
- give up on what I wanted to do
-after now 6+ hours of getting nothing done and essentially fucking about
-think about the sheer vertical wall scale of the level of skill I need to actually do anything I can be proud of
-call it a day and say "I'll do more tomorrow"
-closes blender for 2 years, putting off having to go through that awful experience again until I forget why I stopped.
Anything you can't teach yourself from scratch is lame
ОтветитьBlender is the only software I donate to monthly.
I don't use it as often as I'd like.
But it's supporting something that is so amazing and gives people the ability to create for free thats whats most important to me.
my number one question to blender how to like clip waht the model that ur trying to clip and 2 is importing models its really hard for me because im new and blender just add obj blah blah there's so many things that my brain can't understand even my younger brother is just confused what he was doing
ОтветитьWHy is alwasy sweets you have to start with LOL.
ОтветитьGetting a question defined is not answered but goes off on related topics. I'm following a bit on using nodes & the node rectangles are a bit small, How to make them bigger? I have a 32 inch monitor. Here we go, elitists start with, 1. You're not using the right terms, Ok how does one learn the terms if you don't define them? Back to make the node rectangle bigger, is this correct to write it is a rectangle? In working on automobiles if the part is not defined well one cannot easily figure out what is being referred to. Don't go off responding that is not the way to frame the question. OK, what is the way to frame the question? Back to # 1. Label the parts & stick with that label. 2. Stop saying, I don't know or as one fair poster said, I really can't see any other way to do it. Ok, might there be another way? Don't say that, it puts a question into the mind that makes us wonder if you really know what you are instructing. 3. Keep noting the obviously obvious cuz you know it but we don't or can't recall what that was 10 tutorials back. Trying to do a bisect & tab & it didn't work, search is useless back to the former. Finally someone mentions, HIT A, say what? Why isn't that simplicity emphasized? And all the know it all's say, Everyone knows that or that is so simple. It is if you know it. There is more but it's the little things that stop a work & then an hour, then pissed off then more time & this IS simple, you are right but you are not emphasizing crucial key strokes or clicks that would make getting a model done a real satisfying win.
Ответитьi made the mistake of deleting blender because i couldnt learn how to use it. i deleted it because i was running out of storage room and i was getting angrier the more i had to delete despite only getting like 1% of storage freed up. so basically i got rid of it due to rage. and now i dont even have enough storage to open steam because i had downloaded a game software. the fun side of having a ✨sChOol laPtOP✨ and having no money for a ✨pROpeR oNE✨
I'm Maya user, do u thing that I could handle how to use with Blender? cause I would like to move from Maya to Blender.
ОтветитьYou’re forgetting one… a sllooooowww computer!! A slow computer can kill anyone’s hopes and dreams…
ОтветитьBecause it fuckin is lol
ОтветитьGood Lord stop trying to be wacky
ОтветитьBlender is super simple I'm 13 and I can use blender and I have not even had it far a year
ОтветитьI think this argumetation is not entirely true. Blender is hard to learn because it is unintuitive and getting informations on google can be frustrating. The learning curve is huge and when you leave it for few weeks there is a big chance you will forget some of the most basic stuff (not to mention somewhat more complex) unlike some other tools that I could leave for a decade and just get into the flow within minutes. And then you have to google how to do stuff but you will encounter lots of informations of older versions which do not apply to the latest version you have etc. I really can tell it is very powerfull tool from that moment in time when I ''got it all'' but now that my knowledge has expired it just ended up as unenjoyable and demotivating.
ОтветитьI used to think blender was impossible but I'm starting to get the hang of it. I've still only scratched the surface though.
One thing I hate is the program keeps changing so tutorial videos get rendered obsolete constantly.
Blender is hard to learn, because it doesn't follow common sense and basic logic, delete doesn't delete, but shift + delete does.... Trimming animations is terrible, the whole aspect of it is terrible, jack of trades, master of none
ОтветитьI have to disagree. If the u.i. needs improvement, the u.i. should be improved upon. Plain and simple. All it takes is for someone to develop an alternative to blender that properly separates the technical/backend features of a 3D development software interface from the more immediate needs of the artist. If most people need a few core features over the majority of their projects, astronomically more than things like geometry nodes and shaders and hidden tools and plugins and features that are named and labeled as if an alien came to earth to put the interface together, then it only takes someone developing an alternative with more streamlined, commonsense driven processes in regards to getting the job done. It's disheartening to see computer scientists bestow such vast capabilities upon us within the software they create, while being so out of touch with the fact that they are creating it for artists. In the process of creating art, it is often overlooked that the artist must be able to move through tasks fluidly from task to task in order to maintain the desired outcome in their art or else the essence of what they are trying to create is watered down by losing track of the art in the name of the process it takes to create it.
ОтветитьThe only think I dont like about blender tutorials is that those guys just do random clickings and expect us to understand it. Why are they even called tutorials if it teaches you nothing?
ОтветитьI think i can boil my concerns down to this
Why is it hard to do simple things
why cant it be simple like photoshop where when i make a mistake, I can erase it and draw over it.
Because it is
ОтветитьBlender IS too hard to learn. If something isn't easy for me to understand, then I don't care about it.
ОтветитьIm black and I'm trying to learn
Ответитьits 2024 ... When will they stop using hieroglyphics and use real words. It doesnt take much to have a button named BEVEL than to search around for the right pictogram.
ОтветитьBLENDER IS HARD BECAUSE I DONT FIND ANY TUTORIALS THAT WORK. I CLICK CNTRL P AND DOESNT SHOW “automatic weights” BLENDER IS TRASH 🗑️
ОтветитьI can say with confidence after being stuck with the same models for over nine years that blender is indeed too hard to learn. I've given up on multiple occassions. There's no good tutorials. Sure the tutorials teach you useful things but there's never information how to solve problems. I got a topology problem, I watch a tutorial about topology but nothing helped me. Sure I learned things for later but it didnt teach me anything useful. I had to go to people for help. People are better than tutorials cause you can ask them about SPECIFIC problems. However people can be unhelpful too. The one guy who can help me with my problem completely disappeared and no one else answers me, google provides no help and tutorials are useless. I've given up again cause there's zero hope of solving the problem. Blender is impossible and if you ask me people just get lucky when they fix theirs. My case im in a never ending cycle. I have a problem, solve said problem, get more problems, fix those problems, back to same problem and repeat.
I used all my knowledge, used every idea I had and waited for help and nothing worked. Blender is IMPOSSIBLE and I wish I wasn't stuck with this piece of shit. It stole so many years from me. Blender is dogshit, impossible to learn and impossible to fix. I never hated anything so much in my life.
Blender is the worst thing to exist.
I loved 2.49b and last used in 2020
ОтветитьWhat’s really driving me crazy with blender is the particles systems 🤪😜
Ответитьthey don think pal it IS hard lol
ОтветитьI uninstalled blender it is very hard to work on .
ОтветитьIt s horrible and a waste of time. That s why big studios use Maya or Cinema 4d
Ответитьtheres so much info on blender, it feels so unnatural to do anything, like why couldnt i have some things similar to fusion 360, for example the low poly could be way easier if it was like fusion 360, if i could afford fusion i would use it for low poly and them sculpt on blender, but i CANT EVEN UNDERSTAND THE BASICS
Ответить"number 1 dis so fun" idiotic
ОтветитьThe sheer amount of tutorials for blender should tell you just how difficult it is, if it wasn't so infuriatingly difficult to learn then people wouldn't need to constantly make and search for 40 metric fucktons of tutorials.
Ответить
