Master TOEFL Speaking Question 4 (2021 Update)

Hello Michael. I took the Toefl test a few days ago and received a score of 30 in the speaking section and a score of 27 in the writing section. Your videos are awesome! I would like to know if you have any videos teaching about how to take notes or organize thoughts when listening the test or something that might similar on these mentioned? I feel like I have a problem with that because it is difficult to listen and take notes at the same time.

Hi Micheal! SOS! I only have 6 days left for my TOEFL test and I did not practice TOEFL in 4 years. Speaking is my biggest weakness. Which of your guide videos should I watch? I had my undergrad in the English speaking environment.

There are 4 qstns in total..and how much scores does each qustn carries?? I relly wanna know..dear sir😊🥰

I have an interesting question. Do they just score each speaking part seperately and then add the points, or do they also take into account the speaking overall?

The order of the Speaking section questions is always the same??

Hi Michael, thank you for making things clear about the speaking part. I was wondering if I need to paraphrase the words or sentence structures that I take notes of from the listening? Or should I just focus on fluency and parahrase when it's natural for me? Also, will the speech rater compare the language I use to the original material?

Michael, you're a treasure. Most articulate and to the point TOEFL teacher out there. I used your videos for prep (especially for speaking) and scored 120/120. I have recorded around 80-90 responses trying to limit my pauses and "umms" during speaking which was my biggest issue. Another problem I had is that I could hardly pinpoint just a couple of ideas / reasons and get in the TOEFL mindset. For example I often play devils advocate in my head and try to find flaws in my reasoning, so I had to try block that and just defend an idea even if I know it makes no sense. Still, the independent question on the test surprised me (was very unorthodox) and I thought I flunked it. Seems like my good pronunciation and your templated saved me even though I blabbered some MAJOR nonsense :D.
A big tip for everyone is to try to write as clear as you can. My experience with speaking is that a lot of what I wrote down in my notes was not intelligible when it came down to read and speak about it. A good handwriting goes a long way I believe.

Hi Michael. I watched your videos for a week and followed your templates. That was the only preparation I had for the test. With a week of preparation I thought I would get around 80-90. But I got a 104 and that was possible because of your videos. Thank you so much that you are doing this. Not all heroes wear capes.
