You literally don’t need to listen to any other candle makers videos to learn candle making if you watch this channel. SO much information and so thorough and entertaining. Keep them coming!!!

Great video with so much information. Thank you. Came here looking for a recommendation for a beeswax votive Wick. I know it needs to be rigid and also a robust flame to melt the high viscous beeswax.

Amazing video thank you! I have only been candle making for about a year now and decided to switch my jar to a larger vessel. Do you have any recommendations for a wick for double wicked 3.5 in diameter straight edge jar with beeswax & coconut blend? I've tried eco 14 and they burn okay but not fully to the sides after like 5 hours burn time. There's so much to consider I know. Thank you for your time!❤

Hi Wade- quick question. Is there a place to get more specific information regarding viscosity of fragrances and how they affect wick burning? There’s got to be some kind of math that can help narrow down wick choices, right? Love this video!

This question has probably already been asked, but...I'm starting my testing phase and all but one of my candles are burning great. Is it possible that the fragrance might make a candle not burn the same as the others? I have four different fragrances but all the same variables for everything else. Same size jar, same size wick, same amount of wax, no color, same amount of fragrance. One is not burning evenly. Your insights would be appreciated!

Hi Wade. I'm interested in a 3 mm woven or braided wicking material to use in a survival lighter. The price for the OEM wick at 8 inches long is ridiculous, over $2 each. Since lighter fluid is not wax etc , I'm not worried about absorption, but durability. If you have any suggestions I would appreciate it. Thank you

Hi Wade, thank you for this video! I'm new to candle making but I've been studying it for some time (albeit all the procrastinations), I'm going to trial and error my own blend of beeswax with coconut oil. But like you've mentioned, I understand there's so many variables to consider, it's like endless possibilities. After deciding on a wax blend and container size, what variable should I start testing next? I'm only using pure essential oils/fragrance oils, no colour dyes etc. Should I do the fragrance and wax blend test first, before moving on to testing wicks? Thank you so much, hope to hear from you!! 😊

The first 30 seconds of this video has been me( probably most of us) so many times . I was unorganized when I began, and more than once, took a wick out of the labeled bag, got busy then forgot which size I took.🤦🏼‍♀️ They all look identical out of the bags to me. I'm way more organized and careful now!😁 Thanks for the great video! I appreciate all the wonderful knowledge you and the commenting candle makers share❤️

Hello, I am using a very small 1.125 inch pillar candle (paraffin) and I need a flat-braided wick that will really curl back on itself for my application. Which flat wick, in your experience, would curl the most? I have tried the LX 8 wick, but it is merely leaning a little and is certainly not what I would call self-trimming and the flame is just getting too high. Thank you so much for the video. I learned a lot from it.
