Elex 2 - The Most OP Weapon? | Location + Tips

Hey guys I started playing it and I needed up on a alb mission, it was the one with the soldiers and the elex and is there a way to reset the previous mission

While your in the area, pick up the Death stick. its on one of those buildings. It's a powerful slug thrower.

Most OP Weapons are the Flak Cannons. They fireing like an MG and doing a lot of Damage. Even Trolls and Behemoths have no Chance against an Enhanced Vault Cannon. They are down just in a few seconds.

is it still the best or there is better for ultra?

sheath and draw your weapon again for a much faster reload
also, the Leadspreader is a regular shogun which is better than the double barrel shotgun. You can get it from guards at the Crater.

the enhanced Leadspreader is the best shotgun damage per shot wise. it does only have 5 shots instead of the 6 shots of the Thunderclap, but does more about 25 points more damage. I still think the extra shot of the Trunderclap makes it the better shotgun though.
my Regent at lvl 51 has an enhanced Leadspreader with 407 damage and the Thunderclap with 383 damage.
If you have at least 1 point in pickpocket, you probably can get the requited 6 damaged Leadspreader shotguns from various outlaws at the crater. repair and upgrade and you have this weapon.

However, the best light ranged weapon damage wise as per shown stats is the legendary grenade launcher The Wrathful. It can be found at the church/chapel in southern Maracor.
mine shows 774 damagein menu. Just make sure you don't blow yourself up with it.

I also have an enhanced Plasma Cannon MK2. It is statwise the heavy weapon with the greatest damage. mine does 859 damage as per shown stat. However, it also makea you shlower than a snail and you can't use it with jetpack.

PS: shotguns are awesome in Elex 2 and they actually might do much more damage at close range than their stats suggest.

Best gun I've found is the Laser Rifle MK3, which you can just find in Cleric/Alb areas.
428 damage, massive range (you can hit enemies that aren't even in range to visually appear). And there's no issue getting ammo, as this game's got energy weapon ammo scattered everywhere.

I've found that the "legendary" weapons are generally subpar overall. Most are much weaker than regular weapons of the same type.

The only real one that I find worthwhile is The Cutter, a one handed sword. It's 393, the same strength as the Captain's Axe or whatever it's called (the most powerful one handed weapon, shows up before Cutter in your inventory). I use Cutter because it's got one extra gem slot, because it's legendary, and it's a sword, and I like swords.

For heavy weapons, grab an Enhanced Plasma Cannon Mk2. You can find them in Alb areas. 716 strength. Fires a homing plasma blast (you have to have aimed directly at the enemy, but once fired it never seems to miss).

I not sure why... But I feel utterly compelled to play this game. I haven't played the first one. I haven't played a single Gothic or Risen game. And even though a large majority of the feedback surrounding it has been negative for some reason I just feel fucking drawn to it... I honestly have no idea why. For some reason it fascinates me and I feel like I would have a blast with it.

Enhanced Leadspreder is better. ;)

another tipp for making the climb: press the jetpack button in small intervalls, you can gain more hight that way

I have no idea how you guys are grabbing ledges on buildings like that. I just keep falling to my death.

I kinda miss the oneshot spells you had in Gothic. Because ELEX 2 endgame is superboring, kill 50 robots there, 50 robots there, and another 90 wild Animals over there.

this weapon should be removed from the game. i found it 2 days ago and not much fun since then

This weapon is ridiculous. The damage is per pellet, I think. It's doing way more damage than listed, just blows things up. Even the Phantom Caller bow doing 400+ damage isn't doing half as much as this 300 damage weapon (though for longer ranges, bow is better... or calaan's light)

Leadspreader is one tier above the double barrel and i think is even better then the legendary. it requires 64 dex/str with the 10% off perk aktiv. The problem is i only found one damaged so far. i guess the morcon path will open up that gun at the vendors, cause it's a morcon shotgun.

It is the 3rd best ranged weapons i think and if your playing Ultra it is sorta risky going near enemies because of the main reason that every good enemy one or two hits you. In my opinion the phantom caller and the wrathful are the best

Granade launchers are still the most OP weapons like The Wrathful. Haven't found anything topping the 578 base damage of this granade launcher

Shotguns r broken in this game!. It's the only weapon u need, u will for get melee weapons for real.

Leadspreader has been the best shotgun better then double barrel… it’s not a legendary and upgradable. I wanted to see if there’s something better and you helped thanks! Except leadspreader does more damage when upgraded to enhanced 335 compared to 315 based on my stats, which I haven’t found another leadspreader so I can’t upgrade it just yet to its final version

Melee weapons are better, especially with the Jetpack combination..
But the shotgun also works what it wouldn't ..

When ordinary claps just wont do for them cheeks, give em the Thunderclap

on the roof of another building in that same area is a unique cannon named "death stick"

Quite low requirements indeed. Broken great bow i found early game is stronger than that though... So not really op, just decently strong for lower stats needed.

Have you tried any magic or morkon abilites yet? Im curious how strong berserker fireball/rain of fire and alb chain lightning is. Morkon abilities seem super strong for melee as well. I just started so it will probably take me a while to try them out.

Tbh the dmg is great but damn does that look boring haha

Elex 1 also had some OP ranged weapons that actually ruined my immersion with the game. I don't really like being super overpowered. I like souls experience where my ass getting rekt.
