TED has become a cesspool for the nonthinkers
ОтветитьI have had dogs my whole life. My parents have a photo of me around 2 years of age asleep on the grass of the backyard with our German shepherd wrapped around me. I think because of the very early experience I’ve learnt a lot about dogs. My neighbours upstairs in an apartment above me, we met in the lift one day and they had their Labrador with them. This was the first time I met their dog. I interacted with the dog in the lift talking and patting it. As I got out of the lift the dog was trying to come out and follow me. The owners looked at me and said she never does that. I said it is a life long love of dogs and being able to communicate with them. However it doesn’t happen with every dog. As with people you don’t connect with every person you meet. Dogs in my opinion are very important for humans and vice versa.
Ответитьvery good presentation. Always good to understand that animals live in the physical world and communicate through visual clues but also that all dogs are different in their response to a given situation as are people. Many generalities apply to all but any given dog like people react differently to the same situation. What works for one , may not work for another.
ОтветитьThat's the best trained dog ive ever seen!
ОтветитьHaha, for the first couple of minutes I thought you had an extremely well trained dog! Yikes, that dog with the kid, poor thing! Teach the kid to let the dog eat by himself! Unbelievable that the father would let this kid harass the poor dog, and film it. The dog is amazing that he did not react negatively. So glad you said they had set up an area where the space to get into it was just big enough for the dog if it wanted to be alone to eat or rest by itself. Whew. Will look for your book, Decoding Your Dog. Thank you for teaching about dog communication.
ОтветитьWhy was the prong collar on that dog at a behaviorists office
ОтветитьHow about train the child? lol! I mean really, teach the kid some boundaries.
ОтветитьAnimals l love most 🐾🐾🐾🐾♥️♥️♥️♥️
ОтветитьStop referring to animals as “it”.
ОтветитьYawning is an anxiety behavior in humans also. When I worked as a court reporter/stenographer, I would see people yawning during their court hearings. I used to think this was rude. I didn't understand how this person could not be in a more alert or hyper-vigilant state of mind during
such a profound time in their life. In reality this human is so stressed they're exhausted.
Ridiculous
ОтветитьMy dogs are too friendly!
ОтветитьSO annoyed by the father of the toddler who allowed the kid to go as far as he did in mistreating the dog. Only once did he say not to hit but scratch rather than teach him to leave the dog alone to eat. The parent is lousy clueless and we see so much of that.
ОтветитьUgh so boring
Ответитьmy current dog Thor is the greatest love ive ever known besides my mother.
ОтветитьThe dog didn’t need training and an escape route, the parent needed to train and manage the child!! 3 year olds behaviours can be managed.
ОтветитьWe put a board to give the dog privacy as it ate. The skidding noise of the board was post food triggered the dog. It began to growl if you approached the board. Eventually the territorial nature became the room between the garage and basement (utility room). This was literally the thoroughfare. It was a sheepdog. It eventually bit everybody in the family.
So, I roll my eyes every time I hear of crate training. In the wild, dogs will find a place. My dog currently sleeps with me, and doesn’t always stay put throughout the night, but I believe enjoys the freedom of being protected and being protector and May roam the house to check out noises etc. sometimes she looks at me and I need to tell her “go do your job.” She is older now, now it is my turn, mostly.
My dogs have taught me so much about love. I would not be the person I am without them.
ОтветитьThe jolly mine emotionally bury because address formerly tempt midst a cold church. possible, wholesale industry
ОтветитьIt’s a product placement
ОтветитьIf you bend over a dog it’s a dog version of dominance
ОтветитьDOG SPELLED BACKWARDS --- GOD
ОтветитьAll dog owners and parents of small children. Should be required to watch this before leaving a delivery room/hospital and or pet adoption facilities.
ОтветитьGreat!
ОтветитьAmazing how well trained that dog on stage is. Didn’t move once. Wow!
ОтветитьNothing like the love of a dog.
ОтветитьSpell dog backwards.
ОтветитьI love TED talks and learn a lot from most. This one is the exception. Poor public speaker.
ОтветитьJust two days ago a neighbor had his new young puppy on a leash. I introduced myself to the dog, and the looks he gave me said:"Hi. You seem nice, but right now I'm training my human so please leave us alone now. My human is difficult to train and still doesn't understand how important taking time to smell the grass is to me. Thank you for understanding, and I hope to see you later.
ОтветитьCats can also give similar responses, when we put shoes on to leave.
ОтветитьWhy would any parent think that patting that dog while eating is a good idea.
ОтветитьTeach the child FIRST!!! No entitlement!!
ОтветитьChild and dog is a dangerous experiment for a video. The children have to learn to keep their hands off without the dogs permission. Children don't have the right to annoy a dog.
ОтветитьWhat a great learning tool! This would be fabulous for people who are introducing a new pet into the home, particularly if they have children or regularly have guests. The gate would not only give the pooch a place to eat and drink in peace, but it would also be good for the pooch because it would know that it always has another option as opposed to needing to use the private space. Often it's just enough to know that we have another option that makes a situation less threatening or stressful than actually using it.
ОтветитьWhy not correct that child? He means no wrong, he just needs to know the dog needs his space
ОтветитьI think that this is an important add on. My 2 year old brother awoke our German Shepard out of a dream & the dog bit his face & he had to have 22 stitches & nearly lost his eye. Children need to be taught to give a dog it's space on sleeping, eating & just general alone time. Please be safe with your child & give your dog it's space!!!
ОтветитьWhat? I was always taught that you should never get between a dog & his food. It's his time & for the safety of a toddler! What if this toddler goes between another dog & it's food & it's huge & is not the least bit tolerant of the child? I am sorry that she failed to mention this. Don't make the dog go away to a crate, teach the human!!!
ОтветитьJust lost both of mine. One after 16 years. The other after only 6 to cancer after a real battle. I’m heartbroken and miss them terribly. They were truly human.
ОтветитьWe can also communicate with our pets telepathically.
Val Hart (the real Dr Dolittle) has a ty channel you may find interesting on this subject
I prefer the term 'dog parent' over 'owner'. Nobody thinks a woman brought the dog to life. But we don't 'own' those dogs anymore than we 'own' our natural kids.
ОтветитьStop listening as soon as she referred to dogs as “it”. Go on you horrible person.
Ответитьshe looks like she ate erens mom
Ответитьits a unique symbiosis, looking into your dogs eyes, helped us evolve co-evolve, we r 1 together, xxx puppy power xxx
ОтветитьFurry yoga work dr ashok Texas
ОтветитьWhat about our cats ????
ОтветитьA fake dog? Really?
ОтветитьWhen Caesar is teaching someone how to deal with a dog, he teaches the owner how to behave themselves, then the dog reacts differently. They react to our energy consciousness.
ОтветитьI spend more time with my dogs than I do people. I prefer them over people
ОтветитьThe pain of losing a dog is horrible
ОтветитьMy daughter would have been b told not to hit the dog, as that child was doing, and to leave the dog ALONE, he is eating.
