Max DPS Full Health Heavy Gunner - Powered by Nuka & Coffee - Fallout 76

I know im late to the party, but what paint are you using on your union armor? I've been looking everywhere for a cool black paint for union and other sets!

Not sure why people can't just load up the customizable world and do the testing themselves. Who needs some guy dictating what's what. Nothing special about turtle we can all test anything with free rolls in that mode. I've been having a blast doing it myself and haven't watched one of this guys videos since covid. I just had to drop this comment since turtle was just spoiling everything for me

I just wanted to ask if Strangler Heart PA is worth grinding. On my heavy character, i have a full set of T65 with 2 bolstering and 3 overeaters pieces (for bloodied loadout) and a full set of Union with 4 Overeaters and 1 troubleshooters for full hp build. I am still working on getting overeaters for the other 2 T65 pieces but should i try to grind Strangler Heart?

Does this build still work? Sometimes I drink more than 14 canned coffees so that I don't run out of APs and they still finish super fast my gun is an AA/25/25 gatling plasma

I don’t think the canned coffee can keep up anymore.. am I missing something?

Why does Bethesda nerf everything into the ground?

Question: I tried the build but instead of the TS that you have I got a Vampire (same other stars)... but I am not able to hold the AP as much as you do. So what should I do? Do i need to boost more coffees... becuase after drinking several of them, the AP gets depleted very quickly, I am using Nuka Cherry on top of the Dark and the Coffee, and even though I boost a lot my Ap pool... it goes down very quick... I think that I might be able to handle 3 crits or 4, depending on my luck... What can you recommend me? The plasma caster works very well, I can land at least 10 or maybe a bit more shots (I have a TS and 25% less AP version) before the AP bar is fully depleted... I drink a couple more coffeess and Quantum Candies and voila... I am on tip top shape... but the gatling gun... I dont know man... even with the 50% more crit damage, 25% less AP and Vampire... I dont see it working as yours. For Radiation I am using Nuka Grape :)

Honestly i wouldnt say you found a full health high dps build. The amount of prep you need tp do just to compete with other builds is rediculous.

With all do respect but this build is strange, looks like something that works maybe on paper but in reality not so much. Use of gatling plasma or even weapons with fusion cores without Batteries Included perk card makes it overweight too much a lot of times, you say armor is not esential but next moment you mention the ammo reduction prefixes on armor as something important (and i see why but that actualy makes good rolls on all armor parts quite ESENTIAL). Next thing is lack of mutation perk cards, it`s not just rad x that can remove the mutations but even damn shower in doors of someone camp, so i would expect to lose the random mutation every several minutes unless i never visit anything like camps. I`m not realy sure the dmg numbers are worth all the disadvantages of this build.

I always drop good with salt for boss fights and 90% of the time I actually remember to put it back on.

it annoys me that it takes this much effort to be full health opposed to being a goo drinker

Rolled a AA/25/25 Gatling Plasma today, absolutely in love with this build!

Wouldn't this be possible on a bloodied build? I have a lot of the heavies in bloodied already the perks I'm missing is super easy to grab

been using this build since yesterday, and I'm loving it so far, its a great alternative to my usual bloodied PA build.

PA builds are the only builds I see as a no brainer to be bloodied. Without pa most of the time you get one shot if serendipity doesn’t activate but in pa you can still be pretty much immortal at 20% hp.

I use three pieces of hellcat power armor with luck and that enables me to crit anytime while on a team, no need for nuka dark, cola nut and party boy. You can do the same with one piece of regular armor with luck and underarmor with 2 luck. Hellcat pa and secret service armor pieces drop all the time and you can put sets together without any effort, I have a set of union pa for the once in a great while I want to deal with poison up close and at low health, still use the full weight reduction excavator to fast travel. When playing at full health in PA, I'd use core assembly and ap regen pieces, won't have to rely on buffs as much.

I have 5 pieces of Excavator Power Armor with -20% weapon weight on each piece. But my weapons still have weight to them...???

Am I just a dumb American (20 * 5 = 100%.) or Is this a bug???

Which is better 2nd perk on the weapon faster fire rate or 50% crit damage?

Will "What Rads" lengendary perk keep you from getting new mutations when starched genes is unequipped?

I think this build is mostly for plasma caster/cryo/ gatling gun but the others will drain your core way too fast for a vats build I would suggest be out of pa with an uny set for this build

Do you switch out your legendary perks depending on the build you are playing?

A better suggestion for cutting required perks points than ditching Gunsmith, IMO, is ditching Travelling Pharmacy. A Cola Nut build with a good supply of various Nukas doesn’t need stimpaks or radaway. Obviously on a temporary load out you’d have to keep T Pharm, but not on a dedicated character.

I have like 75% of this build on my full health heavy gunner and know im not doing full damage but actually figured i dont really need to do more damage everything drops like flies already and i can 1 shot like 90% of the enemies so thanks but i think im good

I understand this is max DPS full health build. Hooray full health. Ugh. VATS. I'd like to see the effectiveness once the two shot is gone. Also, how slow to kill with manual aiming?

I wish we didn't have to use VATS to do damage in this game, its too scrubby for me and makes everything super easy. Especially after VATS got a huge buff

Max out Grim Reaper Sprint, drop Good With Salt. Put on level 2 Starched Genes. You'll thank me later when you get Talons from a little Rads.

If the build requires some consumables - it's a bad build

I can tell this took a lot of effort to put together. Maybe too much with the amount and type of consumables needed to get it to function. It kind of reminds me of my attempts to make revolvers work. Or Stealth in power armor. You can kind of do it for novelty purposes but as the saying goes: "The juice isn't worth the squeeze."

I wish stabilized didn't need power armor. Heavy guns are my favorite, but i don't like power armor

Try out the two shot gauss minigun. When I compared the damage on the pts VS the live game it only lost about 10 damage per shot.

They need to let us refund perk points from legendary cards.

Once I got used to the extra damage, Ap, Xp, crit rate, Vats hit chance, melee damage, carry weight, etc I just couldn’t use any build other then bloody without feeling handicapped. With a full Uny ap sent set and the right build you won’t even die but in rare cases, it is just all upside imo.

Kind of similar to my build, but for every day use i would recommend getting Instigating Plasma Caster for one shoting 80% of mobs...

waiiittt.... the plasma cores are affected by the card perk that affects fusion cores charges???? I tried it last year and it never stacked... does it work now?

Looking forward to your revised video of weapons if they nerf two shot with energy damage. Have a couple two shot weapons I have not throw on my vendor yet because I am curious if there will be a rush to buy or not.
