Pro-tip. All that green moss on that big tree next to you indicates its been dead for awhile. Setting up shop right next to that is probably as risky as banging a prostitute bareback
ОтветитьKeeping the damper closed is how you trap most of the heat from going up the chimney pipe, you lose a lot of heat with no damper!
ОтветитьOh yes, this would be lovely with the family - even if you don't film it, you can report on what went well with the equipment and what did not. And you can bring a small toilet so that they don't have to go outside in the dark. Perhaps even hang a curtain if your daughter is that age - I can't remember when exactly she was born but I'm guessing 5 or 6 years ago. Anyway, family time is what you work so hard for, so yay.
ОтветитьHow is the Tent under snow load?
ОтветитьMy goodness you've got some gear mate. Epic gear. That sure is glamping. I wouldn't want to set all that up just for one night. I'd go fetch the family and say, "we're all going camping!"
Ответитьdont put hot liquid into plastics its toxic
ОтветитьWhich size firepit was that - the "L" ?
ОтветитьCertainly not "roughing it" this time! Curious, what's the pack weight for all of that?
ОтветитьAhhh how cool, i love hearing little British and Aussie kids talk- im from the southern states, i guess i have a southern draw (accent) .
ОтветитьLove your videos
ОтветитьThat familiar tiredness when you just can't think clearly (trying to light the lighter when you have a big flame next to you...)
ОтветитьI wonder if you could fill the tubes with expanding foam, assuming you had a place that you wanted to keep it long term. A air leak would suck in that thing. I like that you took off your shoes, it is going to be hard enough to keep clean without dirty shoes.
ОтветитьBuild a home for the night. 😂 Minimalist camping. 😂 Lamb, garlic potatoes....😂😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьThat tent would probably never hold up to North Dakota winds and rains.
ОтветитьWas thinking about getting this tent but was wondering how it would hold up in harder rain. Any chance you tried it in such conditions and can give an update?
ОтветитьYou're promoting Russian kit? In the words of the great Duncan Bannatyne...am oot! Shame on you fella.
Ответитьok...I have to know, what is the fascination with British people and tea? I've never asked before.
ОтветитьThat’s the Cadillac of tents. The only drawback is that it can sag in freezing weather- at least, that’s what the other camping channels have shown.
ОтветитьNice looking tent but did you order it from overseas.
ОтветитьDid I read wrong does this tent in bag weigh 112 pounds?
ОтветитьA camp like that needs at least one case of beer.
ОтветитьAwesome video! I REALLY wanted to see you roll up the tent and get it back in that bag...
ОтветитьThis has the vibe of some of the US channels where they transport huge amounts of kit, reproduce all the comforts of home and call it camping. At least you haven’t got the word ‘survival’ in your title unlike your pal from Kent. I have no issue with another outdoor cooking show but anyone trying to enjoy the outdoors on a budget is going to have a hard time relating to a landowner in their heated blow up house who casually refers to all the free tents and stoves they own.
ОтветитьCool tent
ОтветитьYummy
Ответить❤❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьPhenomenal Video- Thanks for sharing all the tips and gear. I especially loved the “winner well” fire pit. I was looking for the chair but didn’t see the link.
ОтветитьHello Mike Where is Jaxx? Your tent is largest👍👍
ОтветитьI can see this set up in your garden all spring for the kids to play in and maybe sleep outs with mom or dad or grandpa.
Ответитьeating like a king!
ОтветитьReally nice video, thank you for sharing your adventure with us!
ОтветитьWho makes those black tables?
Ответитьwhich is easier, pumping air or putting two end poles as the hold-up poles, like a normal tent. full carbon fiber cloth tent for high temp resistance all weather. no tearing. carbon fiber fabric cloth is not very expensive per square meter. just paint over the gaps in the fabric to get an air/water proof cloth. thats like a survival emergency pod on the sea. how about an rv bus instead lol.
Ответитьwhat bag do you have?
ОтветитьThe zipper quality is so important as usual. Kind of hard to tell without highlighting them. Would be nice to do a follow up after many family outings.
ОтветитьThank you. It was a very good review for this tent, so I'm going to put my order after I saw your review
ОтветитьHi new subscriber here from Queensland Australia i love these tents why because the are inflatable and looks easy to set up whats your thoughts on buying one of those from Temu I watched a review on utube pretty impressive but they take a while for delivery could you do a review in the temu ones
ОтветитьWho spends $1700....on a tent..?
ОтветитьGreat to hear that you enjoyed the Belgian hot chocolate (I'm Belgian btw). I'm slightly curious to why you didn't tap the sections of chimney to knock out any soot when dismantling the wood stove, just none present at the moment or do you generally have no build-up with this set-up?
ОтветитьHey mike, i love you videos and hope you keep doing stuff like this. You have really inspired me about the outdoors and hope you make this outdoor spark bigger and brighter. And i was wondering if you could put a link to the stuff you use including that portable radio, your sleeping bag, the chairs and tables you use and especially the lantern. But anyway thanks for giving me this spark of the outdoors and wish you well -your biggest fan, Gianni 11yo
ОтветитьThat definitely would be a really good tent for family camping pretty spendy though
ОтветитьI thought you said you have no beer ? You must have had a quick trip home
ОтветитьI would love to see this tent used in heavy rain. I've always wanted to get one for a road trip but haven't seen anyone use it in rainy conditions. Love the videos man.
Ответитьi went to add this tent to my amazon list and it was already in there. love it.
Ответитьwould be nice to carry your items in a fold up all terrain wagon, might make it easier to trek in.
Ответитьdid well with all your bibs and bobs drive it in to wherever you go next time
ОтветитьRecently found your channel mate you are underrated af.
ОтветитьCan I ask, what make is your axe?
ОтветитьWe’re going for Tuesday uploads from this day forward! To help you remember, think “TA Tuesdays” 😁Will aim for around 5pm U.K. time. See you next week!
