It's not uncommon for game developers to use new assets in game that later turn up in the new game. So it's definitely possible.

Rockstar is a well oiled machine with many working cogs, nothing is accidental and everything is deliberate.

We will get a teaser late this year after they give us the trailer for the December update of GTA Online, they will finally name drop the name of the game(either GTA VI or GTA: Americas... I'm banking on the latter).

Then, a full trailer in early 2024 with a release date in late 2024.

And then, info drought until the end of 2024, where they come out with a proper trailer and excuse for delaying the game until 2025.

The game eventually gets released in 2025, between october and December.

And a lot of vehicles. And the grand theft auto 5 online are mostly cars from the early nineties and 2 thousands. Like for an example the yellow car that you're driving is based off a new edge Mustang. That was a early 2 thousands car. And the black car is based off a Honda Civic from the early nineties. So I guess this game was gonna take? Place in the early seventies and then progress all the way up to the 1990s and then to the 2 thousands. And then to the present time.

What they should do in GTA6 is a tribute. To Ray Leodo. Like a tombstone or some type of statue. Or a reference to Tommy versati? Like MPCs talking about a big drug kingpin that used to live in vice city.

I think Online (for next gen) has become somewhat of a VERY soft beta test for 6. The slow burn is real with this one

The notion that all the 70,80,90s cars are in GTA Online because they're not going to use them in GTA 6 makes me sad. I was actually looking forward to a game set in past times, rather than another modern title like IV and V.

For a long time I thought GTA 6 will play in the late 80 or mid 90 era because they added so much classic cars and they're just creating assets for the game and releasing them in GTA:O

Rockstar is teasing us, these assets are from GTA VI, and they absolutely love how the community goes nuts for it.

GTA VI is now Take-Two's third Duke Nukem Forever, for now that is.

The first being 3D Realms' ill-fated Duke Nukem 3D sequel, the second was Rockstar Games' ill-fated unreleased PS3-exclusive Agent, and GTA VI is now the third DNF.

The fact there are gonna be aliens in vice city based on the photos already proves to me this won't be set in an alternate 80's reality so GTA VI is gonna be yet another GTA with no soul right after V what makes anyone think it will be good? I recently played Max Payne 3 again. There is a section on a yacht in the Panama Canal. You wouldn't say it at first (since Max Payne 3 was released a year before GTA V) but the yacht in GTA online is the same as the yacht in Max Payne. So it's not just GTA games they exchange assets from (or concepts).

I know this kinda old but Badger, do you think if GTA 4 had the customization options from 5, parachutes, the changeable characters in real time, the variety of weapons from 5, do you think it would be a near perfect game?

I am 100% NOT playing GTA 6.. I stopped caring so many years ago, TakeTwo are basically EA by this point.

i realize the hospital where i live near by the helicopter they have is alot like the frogger in gta online except in real life it has 3 rotor blades not 4.

Has anyone else noticed the razor blade in the holiday artwork with the police helicopter? It's very reminiscent of the one seen in the Vice City intro that plays after you boot up the game. I'm not saying it means anything regarding GTA 6, but you never know...
